I think Toadie spells it Jarred. Thats what I got when I told people I liked Jarod. After Toadie in Neighbours! Urm, no actually. Although, I do get the name Jarod from a TV show.

BexieID · 15/03/2008 06:29

Or Jarod/Jarrod. I like Jarod. I always wanted to call a boy Jarod, but DF really didn't like it! I worked with a Jarrod once.

Fillyjonk · 15/03/2008 06:24

I love isaac, it was our name for dd2 if she had been ds2

(now sadly can't use it as we have a very similar girls name for her)

Jared is the real name of toadfish from neighbours, is it not?

bluenosesaint · 14/03/2008 23:55

Isaac (and Zac) is lovely

Not keen at all on Jared ...

orangehead · 14/03/2008 17:54

spiderpig · 14/03/2008 17:47

Ah bobsmum you caught me

The name choice may very well have been inspired by the divine Mr Leto

PABLOP · 14/03/2008 17:42

MrsMattie · 14/03/2008 17:40

mrsruffallo · 14/03/2008 17:21

Ahoy there walnut shell!!

Walnutshell · 14/03/2008 17:19

Elijah is ok, but again isn't it getting popular? I still like Jared. If it is unusual enough you will find that people only associate it with your child and the name takes on his/her characteristics. So of course, as your child will no doubt be lovely, most people will like the name!

We have a fairly unusual name for ds and have received many compliments and it really is 'his' name.

bobsmum · 14/03/2008 17:18

I like Elijah!

theowlwhowasafraidofthedark · 14/03/2008 17:17

I like Jared!

HowlingCow · 14/03/2008 17:11

I like Isaac as can be shortened to Zac. Know a great Isaac (13)-he's really outdoorsy with a cheeky face!

minster · 14/03/2008 17:08

Isaac is a fine name, not Jared though, it has hick connotations for me.

spiderpig · 14/03/2008 17:06

There are a few other names I like Walnutshell and some that Dh does but very few we agree on lol!

Any thoughts on Elijah anyone?

(Oh I do so hope I've spelt that one right )

Isaac. No competition imo.

Walnutshell · 14/03/2008 17:01

MrsR, we seem to be in the minority on Jared. But I do like it.

Got any others on the list spider?
