Girl:
Jess (not Jessica, most definitely just Jess)
Amber
Isla

Also like Lexie & Amelie but DD1&2's names end in ee sound, one is ie the other is ey - wonder if it would be too much to have another ee sound ???

Boy:
Jude

Don't like anything else for a boy so am pretty stumped there

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

dizzydixies · 11/03/2008 14:21

ROFL @ Tim, was going round all the names at dd's nursery!!!

right, if jude is definate (and I love it) then I'll stop chucking boys names at you lol

we have 20wk scan tomorrow and am still not sure if finding out yet

sweetkitty · 11/03/2008 14:20

hi foggy have you seen my girls name thread think it's "find me a name for DD3 or something"

I like Isla the best but depends on your surname though, horrid with ours.

Fimbo · 11/03/2008 14:20

Ailsa is my hypothetical dd2 although dh's would be Elinor.

Boy would be Struan or Campbell.

dizzydixies · 11/03/2008 14:19

PMSL - don't go, I wasn't chasing you off I'm just throwing loads of things at the op and seem to be coming up with crappy suggestions lol

FoghornLeghorn · 11/03/2008 14:19

Jude is a definite I'm afraid - we love it !

BTW, am not due for ages but we are finding out the sex in 2 weeks so it's made me start thinking of names

I sound miserable, don't i?
Shall leave this thread now

FoghornLeghorn · 11/03/2008 14:18

How the hell did Tim get in with that list of name ?

Don't mind Evan but DD1 starts with Ev so not sure .....

I'm sure this one is a girl - we only ever liked 1 name with each of the DD's but had quite a list of girls names and it's the same this time

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 11/03/2008 14:17

dizzydixies · 11/03/2008 14:14

lol - there is always a way to put yourself off an name isn't there?!?

dh announced the other day that he now likes the name I was desperate to cal dd2 and would consider it for this one if another dd - all the reasons he gave me are still fresh in my mind though

FoghornLeghorn · 11/03/2008 14:11

Do you like Ailsa atm Fimbo ?
Can't help but think of Alf Stewart when I hear the name

OP posts:
Fimbo · 11/03/2008 14:10

Ailsa?

scorpio1 · 11/03/2008 14:08

if you like Ruby for a girl, what about Rueben?

FoghornLeghorn · 11/03/2008 14:08

I also really like Ruby too but DH has vetoed that as well - I think DH is doing far too much vetoing !

littlemissbossy · 11/03/2008 14:07

I like Jude, Isla or Amelie
Jess sounds like something you'd call the cat

dizzydixies · 11/03/2008 14:07
scorpio1 · 11/03/2008 14:06

dizzy you are right don't worry!

dizzydixies · 11/03/2008 14:05

scorpio I thought you had decided on name - have I been calling her the wrong thing, am soooooooooooooo sorry if I have

fyi - Lexie means 'sparkling' in scottish which is one of the reasons why we chose it!

dizzydixies · 11/03/2008 14:03

foghorn I only know one Isla and I live in scotland where you would think it would be everywhere!

what about Eilidh
Eilish
Iona

Hassled · 11/03/2008 14:03

Favourite of the options is Jess.

Isla St Clair - was Brucie's glamourous assistant in the Generation Game circa 1979.
