I think I'd like a soft, pretty, girly middle name if bump is a girl.

Something like

Lilah
Maya
Eva

Any more?

Re: the Lula debate....I want to call mt daughter Tallulah which I will shorten down to Lula

dizzydixies · 11/03/2008 20:16

pmsl barcode apologies for presumption!

BarcodeZebra · 11/03/2008 20:15

Not having a pop, Dixie.

I don't pay any attention to film stars, so I was only aware of the historical association. If not for that I'd think it was a nice name too.

PS. So very NOT a lady. Ask my DW.

scottishmummy · 11/03/2008 19:59

was not a particularly suggestion but was running out of ideas so thought I'd throw in the jolie-pitts and the tomkat names too for a shake up

scottishmummy · 11/03/2008 19:36

shilohseems pitt-jole had the same idea...so very Papaprazzi et al name

BarcodeZebra · 11/03/2008 19:21

Dixie: not sure about Shiloh. 23,000 men died at the battle of Shiloh. It was the worst battle in terms of lives lost in American history up to that date. Personally, I'd pass.

Mhairi's a lovely name. I'm all for gaelic names me.

Dulcie is lovely.

Is there a name like Mhari?

I'm going to scout name sites for meanings. Meanings are important.

My dog was called Nula, but the DDs always called her Lula. Or Noo Noo.

But then I'm not suggesting that you call your daughter either of these

Lio · 11/03/2008 10:58

The dog in Pocoyo is called Lula. I like the name.

I would have had Bibi for our first if Dh hasn't used his "no way!" card on it!

Love Lula v pretty

BarcodeZebra · 10/03/2008 23:12

Funny how that happens. Our Lulu is short for Lillian (v long story). I spent a good twenty minute trying to persuade a very confused DW that DD2 should be called Lily.

I knew someone I liked had a really similar name. I just couldn't think who.

Good luck choosing. It's a nightmare isn't it?

Janni · 10/03/2008 23:12

BroccoliSpears · 10/03/2008 23:07

Not to worry BarcodeZ - have just remembered that other daughter's middle name is Lilah . Bit too similar. Knew I quite liked it though!
