we have been desperately trying to come up with potential boy names. i'm due in beg june. we already have 1 ds, named Dylan (obviously! dh came up with name in delivery room after bob dylan which i didn't work out until later). we don't know the sex of this baby but have basically decided on Bronwyn for a girl (we have a couple back ups as well).

for a boy though - we just completely disagree. the only common name we've come up with so far is Sebastian (Seb) but neither of us love it.

as an idea - dh likes Winston (been pushing for that since ds), Mortimer (Morty), Leroy. these are NEVER going to happen! i like things like Caden, Tristan, Nate, Griffon, Lachlan. he hates all those.

we need to find something traditional but not too common. Dylan really suits his name but i hear it called out to boys everywhere we go! i feel like i've read every baby name site on the web. please help!!!

also through fear of being shot down for recommending another forum, there are a group of woman who are name experts and know everyname in the world on here - you could post asking for suggestions here -

actually Winston is quite nice. You could call him Win.

bobsmum · 06/03/2008 09:44

I know a Lachlan - he introduces himself as Lachie. He's in his 50s, but very cool.

My dh has a thing against overtly SCottish sounding names, so it's been vetoed for us, but I love it.

V popular in Australia apparently.

if you both like sebestian how about Seth?
similar and quite nice?
