Any ideas of short (one-syllable) girls names that would go with Georgia?

I have fallen in love with the name Georgia (not even pg yet btw ) but am struggling with the middle name.

I think it needs a short middle name - so any ideas?

My fave is Rose but I have a colleague whose DD is called Georgia Rose so I think it would be a bit weird

Lee?

Or

Kate

Blue?

Near Minehead - really??? Wow, I assume she has more than 1 holiday home then as Minehead would not be my first choice if I could have a holiday home anywhere

Anyway, Doodle, Georgia Elizabeth is lovely but Elizabeth is my middle name and it seems a bit vain to name them after me iyswim (my grandchildren can use it as a tribute to me by all means ).

Georgia Kate is still my pick so far.

TheMadHouse · 03/03/2008 20:11

Didnt she mary an English guy and lives in switzerland or somthing?

Cant be doing with her myself, but BIL and SIL first dance was her

vicsta · 03/03/2008 20:11

Eve? Or Georgia-Lou if you want to go down the Country singer route!

hatwoman · 03/03/2008 20:11

I thought Kate as soon as I read it. I'm not convinced you need one syllable though -Georgia Louise is nice.

Georgia May was the first one that came into my head too. Georgia Rose is nice too.

ceebee74 · 03/03/2008 20:01

Tutter - that has been noted.

Ok - I do like Kate - Georgia Kate sounds lovely.

it ends up georgiaaaaaaann

or georgiarann

Tutter · 03/03/2008 19:56

nononono

ann doesn't work

avoid names starting with same letter/sound as previous name ends

the 'a's run into each other

ceebee74 · 03/03/2008 19:55

Nice so far - Ann might be nice as it is my mum's middle name.

Have already sorted out the boys name - nothing like being well-prepared
