Most common sibling set names you know..

Does anyone else know or know of multiple sibling sets with the same same? I wonder if some names are more commonly paired.

Growing up I knew 4 sets of sisters called Sarah and Rebecca. The Sarah was the eldest sister every time, and all of them had no other siblings.

in current times I know 3 brother sets called Oscar and Harry.

I suppose these are all common popular names but plenty of other popular names I’ve never seen together.

Just remembered another one… Jake and Luke. Knew of 3 sets of brothers with those names when younger, Luke eldest and Jake youngest each time!

I know one of these in this order too!

Thomas and Matthew when I was at school now it's Harry and Charlie for boys and Emily and Sophie for girls or with a Thomas/Ben/Jack/Oliver

Samuel and Joshua. Two families in the same tiny village. 1 Samuel and both Joshuas are in the same school class (in a year of 10 children)

Harry and Freddie: one sibling pair, one pair of dogs!

Ben and Hannah seem to often go together

This is the only one so far that I know a set of! They have another sibling too.

I knew someone who had a Lily and Grace back in the mid nineties. Then, those names were considered really unusual and old fashioned. How times have changed.

When my dc were young there seemed to be so many sisters called Rachel and Rebecca. Not so sure about now, but I've found that girls with flower names are more likely to have a flower named sister. I've heard quite a few Lily's with a sister called Poppy or Daisy. In one family I know they have 3 dd's who all have flower names.

Well you sound just lovely.

If you have kids, what fascinating and imaginative names do yours have?!

I was wondering how interesting your children’s names are as well!

Rosie and Jack... Jack and Rosie... Rosie and Jack. I know at least 5 sibling pairings in the age group (5 and under)
So basic and dull. Roll my eyes at the lack of imagination/personality of the parents. Poor kids.

Well you sound just lovely.

@WhatsTheWorstThatCldHappen Yes! I know several sibling sets called Ollie and Sophie.
I also know several Jack and Ella siblings.
Growing up in the 80s there were a lot of 2 boy families with Matthew and Jeremy and 2 girl families with Kate and Jessica.
And in my parents group when I had my first 15 years ago there were several couples named Matt and Sarah. It got confusing!
