Most common sibling set names you know..

Does anyone else know or know of multiple sibling sets with the same same? I wonder if some names are more commonly paired.

Growing up I knew 4 sets of sisters called Sarah and Rebecca. The Sarah was the eldest sister every time, and all of them had no other siblings.

in current times I know 3 brother sets called Oscar and Harry.

I suppose these are all common popular names but plenty of other popular names I’ve never seen together.

I know three families who have a Matthew and Jonathan, all now in their 30s or 40s.

I know several who have various combinations of two out of Sophie / Amy / Lucy.

Really! Often when I hear of parents who have ‘used their imagination’ I roll my eyes. Those are perfectly lovely names.

Oscar and Olivia seem to be a pair now. Ben and Emily were popular when DC1 was little too.

My name and that of my elder brother; quite old-fashioned and slaggable in the 70/80/90s - but I now know of three little sibsets with our names, none of whom are related to us.

Also, my son has the same old-timey name as my brother. Through school I have met two much older women with variations of my name who, on hearing what my kids are called said oooh, their brothers have the same name as my son! I find it weird to hear of one without the other, it’s like someone screwed up in the naming department 😂

When my dc were young there seemed to be so many sisters called Rachel and Rebecca. Not so sure about now, but I've found that girls with flower names are more likely to have a flower named sister. I've heard quite a few Lily's with a sister called Poppy or Daisy. In one family I know they have 3 dd's who all have flower names.

Ha, my nephew and niece have 4 DC with flower names, Lily, Ivy, Primrose and new baby Poppy.
