Elise.

RuthW · 08/09/2023 12:04

Eliza. Much nicer and classy. Elise reminds me of a cheap sportswear brand.

IsThePopeCatholic · 08/09/2023 12:01

Eliza. Lovely sound. Elise sounds ugly.

minipie · 08/09/2023 12:01

Elise - although you will get different pronunciations, soft vs hard S sound

even better, Eloise

peaceinourtime · 08/09/2023 11:59

Elise. I knew three in primary school and since then have only met two others.

Hoolahoophop · 08/09/2023 09:29

Elise sounds like a question.
Eliza sounds like a statement.

To me. So I prefer Eliza, though I think Elise would make a pretty middle name.

NotFastButFurious · 08/09/2023 09:22

100% Eliza

TaylorJoy · 08/09/2023 02:58

Eliza is pretty but sounds a lot like Elijah.

BoleynMemories13 · 08/09/2023 02:50

Eliza is gorgeous, a strong classic name.

Elise feels very trendy in comparison. Plus I prefer the 3 syllables of Eliza, personally.

Elise is such a beautiful and classy name. I love it and wish it were used more as a first name.

Elise, but I'm biased as my daughter is Elise , she is 22 and has never met another yet. I wasn't aware it was becoming popular now , Eliza is nice too thou .

I love Eliza. Its strong and a bit sassy. Definitely prefer to Elise.

StillWantingADog · 07/09/2023 21:57

Oh and if you go with Elise then needs to be a soft s eg pron. Elyze. Not Elisse!

SM4713 · 07/09/2023 21:11

My best friend as a child was Elisse- pronounced Elle-eese. I prefer it over Eliza.

reporting4 · 07/09/2023 21:00

Eliza, it's pretty.

fearfuloffluff · 07/09/2023 20:54

Eliza is strong and 18th century sounding.

Elise is fine but sounds kind of french, not that that's a bad thing.

I prefer Eliza because the z is better than an s sound.
