My dd is Elizabeth so I'm biased. It is a lovely name though. We had planned on 'Beth' but as soon as we met her 'Beth' didn't seem appropriate and she has been Elizabeth ever since. Good luck making your choice

Rowan is lovely. Elizabeth is lovely. Sidney and Brodie are boys. And Bethan only works if you're Welsh. Sorry - but you did ask!

(And I know that Sydney is a traditional girl's name and Brodie would do for either - but you don't want her to ave to spend the rest of her life saying "no, I'm a girl actually" You really don't.)

my freind's dd is called Rowan, it is unusual, and once attatched (iyswim)to a child I think its a great name.

I am not keen on the others you have in mind.
