I am just wondering. Since dd was born 4 weeks ago we have had lot's of people comment on her name. Both close family and friends.
Fair enough if it isn't what you would choose but i could never say to someone i don't like your choice after they have called their child that.
We have had plain ooh i don't like that to omg that's a name of a 90 year old woman.
Poor dp who chose it and now i am thinking poor dd !
By the way it's Martha!

Martha is a lovely name - I know several.

And no, I would never comment on someone else's choice of name - well except in a good way!

No, i wouldnt. I considered Martha as a name for my dd.

O FGS get better friends, Martha is a lovely name and I have liked all the Marthas I have ever met. And no I certainly would never actually tell someone if i didn't like the name they choose for their child. But then I was well brought up.

Lovely name so I'd never say it but not even if your dd was called Ermintrude as it is just plain rude!!

WideWebWitch · 16/02/2008 16:57
