Names to go with Ivy

If we have a daughter, I want to give her the middle name Ivy after my mum

I'd appreciate any ideas for first names

Dh loves Rose/Rosalie but I don't think Rose Ivy flows very well

I'm toying with Hope Ivy or Alessandra Ivy
but not sure if they really work either

Talk about being a muppet, I was actually sitting sounding out Tilsley as a name until it dawned on me...

oh darcy...one of my (many) favourite names...saying that, there is a little girl in ys nursery called Darci (and whilst that mkaes no difference to pronunciation...it doesn't look right to me, lol)

I would never of thought of scarlet but a litytle girl Archie wa sin SCBU with was called Scarlet and her big sister Darcy ...great names!

Ivy seems to lend itelf better to names beginning with an L for the second name:

Ivy Louise for example

or maybe Katherine Ivy?
Rosamund Ivy

I think you need a fairly classic name to go with Ivy and certainly not one ending in an Y.

I agree with Hatrick - Constance Ivy would be lovely; unusual but in a good way.

I don't think Hope Ivy flows very well at all I'm afraid and I just don't like Alessandra as it sounds a bit of a mouthful.

Rosaline Ivy is nice, as apposed to Rose and you could always shorten her name to Rose, as middle names don't really get used except by family.

I quite like Isobel Ivy for some reason too.

I've got a Scarlett Ivy! Ivy was the name of both my grandmother and favourite aunt. They are both fab names, but clearly I am very biased!

I agree with Desi - anything ending in a vowel would be tricky. But so many girls names do, it does present a problem.
