How would you spell this name? Darcey, Darcy or Darcie?

Also, opinions on this name ? I think it’s a pretty and not very common name but is still a heard of name, however, something is holding me back! 🥴

OP posts:

Not a fan, but I do like the Jane Austen spirit.

What about Clara, Eliza, Louisa, Julia, Rose, Violet, Caroline, or Keira?

I can see why you like the name Darcy, but it has unfortunate rhymes and will definitely mold the child to a certain personality type, I think. But it's not terrible by any means, just not my style.

I used to ride a pony called Darcy. It's not really a little girl name in my ears.

I like Darcey

Sorry OP, I hate it. It’s a really overused name IMO, and is often paired with Mae, which I also really dislike.

I think it's cute. I have looked after a few and they are usually Darcie/Darcy. I think I prefer Darcy.

I’ve seen it spelt all three ways but none seem more ‘right’ than another if that makes sense. FWIW it’s very popular in the South West, I know a lot.

I like the spelling Darcie but actually would say Darcy is the default spelling and she would be constantly correcting people if it was spelt any other way. Never that struck on the name until l met a girl called Darcy and she is the most adorable and kindest little girl so now l love the name!
