Cara or Kara?

Cara is the Irish spelling, meaning friend, Kára is Norse and means little wild one or curly one.

I like both, think Cara is more likely to be spelt right but love the Valkyrie link and meanings of Kára. Dh (who is Irish) prefers Kára.

Halp!

Definitely not with a K!!

I have a Cara but I think wild curly one would be a much better description of her Grin

If I had another dd I would call her Cara. I met a Caragh once - I liked that but we don't have any Irish connection!

Which goes best with your surname initial?

Go for the one you prefer!
