Middle name for Winter.

Hello, my husband and I have picked the name Winter for our baby girl. I know it may not be everyone's style but we've fell in love with it. We can not find a middle name that we love with it and would really appreciate some help. Our last name is Mac Laughlin. We also do not want names that are too common like Emma, Olivia, Abigail, Charlotte, Isabella ect.. they are beautiful but not for us. Thank you for your help

I’m with Tilda and would avoid making it sound like an adjective. So relatively straight forward stand alone names are best eg
Winter Martha
Winter Lucy
Winter Elizabeth kinda thing sound best to me.

Maybe his parents either liked the name or he has an Italian mother or something. I wouldn't assume the child is just taking her name. It's not really relevant or anyone's business.

Also I think classic names look out of place with the more 'unusual' names.

OK, so I know this has nothing to do with your question but - your DP is called Matteo McLaughlin? How did that come about? Or is DD taking your last name?

For me, with a slightly unusual first name you are generally better off with a more classic middle name. Rebecca, Lucy, Elizabeth or Louisa for example.

I always loved the name Blu pronounced "blue"

I always said I'd name my first girl Blu since bright blue eyes run in the family
