Welsh names - how popular is Taliesin?

We are not in Wales but have Welsh heritage and so are thinking of names for a DS. Taliesin is the favourite so far.
If you are in Wales do you know any Taliesins? Is it a fairly popular name there or is it still quite 'out there'?
Thank you! :)

Why do the zombie threads seem to get re-opened in the early hours of the morning by users with no other posts, and why do they claim to have, or have a child or grandchild with, an unusual name? @GrannyJani

I absolutely love it. Welsh born and bred but I've never actually met one. It's one of the names on my 'I wish I'd used this' list for my DS, but he's 19 now so it's probably too late to change!

(Also probably too late for this thread to have any impact on the OP, whose son will be nine now!)
