I quite like Madeleine but I don't like Madison.

You may be right, reuset! Haven't had one in years, since I was a kid on holiday.

If I had a kid named calypso, I'd be forever singing 'SEE him LYING ON A BED OF STRAW ...'

Trillium, now, I saw that thread but it isn't a name I've considered, I must say!

Only, no, it's not. I've liked madrigal ever since I was a teenager.

It's the name of Villarreal's football stadium. It's like naming a child Anfield or Wembley.

Sorry, to me it is like that as that is the first thing that springs to mind when you say Madrigal. I suspect there will be others out there who will have the same reaction.

Well, we don't all have the same taste in names but I am getting mildly fed up of being accused of being on a wind up.

In all seriousness, I would think very carefully before giving a child such an unusual name. You might want to consider what the future privacy issues might be for someone whose name is unique in the UK/world.
