It's a cornish girls' name. We are considering it as a middle name for DD due in sept (we live in cornwall).

I don't know... Sounds American. Like a surname. And I wouldn't know whether it's a girl or a bou just from the name.

I don't think you could nickname. Personally I don't like it and imagine you'd get a few looks and have to explain it quite a lot.

My niece has this name. No nn though just Loveday.
