To people saying why don’t they just stay in France - have you seen the state of the camps at Calais? They are slums, absolutely awful conditions. The French really don’t give a fuck. At least when they come to the uk they are given a hotel while they wait to claim asylum! Factor in the general racist attitude of the French (they are much less tolerant than the uk) and English being a more widely spoken language, it’s a no brainer. Oh, and it’s easier to work illegally in the uk (Deliveroo etc).

There’s no way that is true. I pass so many places in London where I know people have been stabbed to death or shot. This is something that was unheard of when I was young, but it’s commonplace now.
People don’t bother reporting crime anymore.

Who are you to say if we disagree with men in large groups wandering around our towns we are right wing? This argument is getting rather tiresome. From my own personal experience, I can no longer visit the city nearest to me. It is not safe and last time I went I was harassed and followed by groups of men at 9am. So no not ‘dog whistle’ at all. Who has voted to let people drown, rather a dramatic statement with no relevant evidence? So because we don’t want large groups of men entering the country, without any vetting, we are right wing and would rather they drown? Figures may show that crime has reduced, not sure the recording of this is correct, but from a personal perspective I genuinely feel very unsafe in my local city which I have never done before.
