Worry about DD at uni who just called

DD just started uni at Bristol. She just called but I only heard a noise and that was it. I am worried. Calling back but not answering

Well with all the dramatics how many parents model decent relationships as there is more chance of a child being hsrmed by someone they know than a stranger

One thing I always do if a call isn't answed is send a WhatsApp message. If not delivered I know phone probably out of signal or battery and that is why it's not answered.

What if they are just busy or don’t want to speak to mummy at that precise time?

I'm not sure what your point is? I'm talking about a situation such as OPs. I never phone my Dds without messaging first anyway.
