AIBU to think if we need to politely ask men not to rape women (or men), then we don't want such people in the UK?

Don't rape, sexually assault or make kissing noises' at people, asylum seekers warned in guidance about living in UK
UK arrivals have been told to treat women equally, not sexually assault partners or have sex with children in a new Home Office pamphlet. As well as the guidebook, a series of posters have also been designed by the government.

What we don't want, on top of the existing sexual violence, is large numbers of poorly-educated men from undeveloped, misogynistic countries, coming in illegally and unvetted, and then hanging around in packs. These men rape and assault at far higher rates than the average British man, and rape in gangs.

Who in their right minds would welcome that on top of the threat that women and girls already face?

I honestly don't know how I can be any clearer. We KNOW there's an existing issue. We want to make it better, not worse.

I think the UK probably does noeed to leave the ECHR, yes. I'm not concerned about that - we played a huge role in its creation.

I’m all for stopping rapes, even one rape is too many.

But there seems to be a white washing in the media and by many MNers that rape is now a racialised crime which does need challenging.

I don't see anyone denying that white men rape. Any woman living in the UK today knows that some white men are a threat to us.
Undocumented men arriving here in their thousands, from countries where women are treated worse than livestock will only increase that threat.

You really are going to throw what you think the average black or Asian woman thinks about all this into the conversation. I think you have not got a clue outside of your own circle of like minded people. I speak from experience and many conversations.

@nomas - are you in disagreement that a feature of rapes by migrant men is that they attack in packs? ( You will probably cite the (white) boys in Fordingbridge, but this was a particular case and unusual.)

This is why many women are afraid - when you see a bunch of men in a playpark or hanging around, it’s uncomfortable at best, intimidating or extremely threatening at worst.

Incidentally I have been attending football matches for decades - sometimes on my own. Me and thousands of men. Never once ever have I felt uncomfortable.
