AIBU to think the wildfire alert about barbecues was unnecessary?

AIBU to think the alert was unnecessary? I get wildfires are an issue but informing the public not to use bbqs isnt a life and death situation.

It would be if it caused a fire. Fire services are stretched and didn't some people's houses burn down in the W Midlands due to fire?
