NDN using our allocated parking space, not their own!

Our neighbours have started using our allocated parking space instead of their own allocated parking space.

We've spoken to them but they have continued. The view of their space is not a clear line of vision.

What to do next???

How are they outside of this parking issue? ie have they proved themselves entitled in respect of other matters? And why have they targeted your parking space? Obviously you are next door but there are presumably other parking spaces which would be equally attractive if they simply want to be able to see their car when it is parked up. Is it that they see you as being the weakest neighbour? Last question, given that you use your parking space, how are they able to nab your parking space?
I would simply install a bollard. I wouldn't mention it - ever! They obviously couldn't mention it and that alone would kill them!

So they want to be able to see their car when it's parked and they can't if they use their own space.

They're hoping they can force you to swap spaces. You've asked them to stop and they won't.

Drop them a letter saying you will be installing a bollard if they don't stop trespassing on your property.

Then buy a bollard if they don't.

What have they said when you’ve spoken to them about it?

As others have said, just install a couple of collapsible bollards, then it's permanently resolved.

You can buy one of those bollards that you drill into the concrete and they lay flat when you want to park and you putt them up and lock them into place when you are away from your space.

Stop stressing over this and just buy one. They are not expensive and solve your problem immediately.

Agreed. Some of my neighbours have one and they’re a lot happier since they’ve had it!

Block them in (I've done this before because I'm petty af). I've also pipped my horn outside their house until they moved their car (sorry other neighbours). I couldn't park in theirs as they had a 'project' in their space hence them parking in mine, but I'd do it if I could have.

We use ours all the time, we're always coming and going.

At least explain why they would do that. What advantage do they gain?

Personally I would block them in by parking in front if them if it's safe to do that

I would want to park my car in my allocated parking spot, not have CF neighbour parking in it as it suits them better.

But then that sets the expectation that’s it ok. Which it isn’t and when they want theirs back at some point, visitors and the like, Op will have to move for them
