It's out of order I lived in an apartment many years ago I even had someone put a note on my car saying to move out of there space it wasn't there space ours went by plot numbers it was a nightmare when new people moved in.
I know its a pain but you have to keep fighting block them in whatever it takes ..im so glad im not there anymore .

Where we live we each have an allocated parking space and when we first moved in the neighbours were always using ours so I had a sign made saying “ private parking No10 parking only” that definitely helped and when we came home I found next door’s visitor using my space so I blocked her in and put a note on her car saying private space, plus took my time letting her out when she wanted to go! My advice would be a sign if possible on the wall, a bollard you have to unlock to put down to park in and if all else fails a letter preferably from your Solicitor. Remember you are Freehold so YOU have paid for that space.

Anything done to your neighbour’s car that costs them time and/ or money to remedy or remove would be criminal damage. Don’t do it. (This excludes blocking them in as the vehicle is materially unaffected.)
I certainly wouldn’t install a bollard, but the idea of registering it as an official parking space is great! Easily reversed if necessary, and although specifically directed at your neighbours, it could easily be explained away as a sideline money spinner if they (dare) say anything.

Agree with previous posts, paint your house number on the ground of your parking spot - also a plaque with ‘parking strictly for number …..’. Also agree install the bollard. I wouldn’t even bother engaging with them anymore clearly a waste of your time and if its freehold they are trespassing.

What about that window paint people use at Christmas? (Would have to use it on the windows and avoid their car paint) It’s not permanent and needs to be scraped off. Make sure it’s not obscene so you don’t get charged.

I think the permanent obstruction is some sort of well known monument or something that will identify exactly where the op lives.

Put a sign up stating that this is reserved for residents of unit/houses X. Get a letter from a solicitor advising them that by parking there they are occurring all towing and impound costs. Or maybe buy a boot on Amazon and charge them for parking.

Where I park in the city, some of the reserved bays have fancy remote controlled bollards. That would solve your issue and be convenient for you.

You need to get your facts right first by checking if this parking space is on your deeds all legal with a diagram showing that space is yours ,If it’s your allocated space legally then take copies posting it and with a letter saying that if they don’t stop parking on your
private property you will take legal actions as they are trespassing. Those people who say park in their space are obviously not understanding what you are saying.You want to park on your own private allocated space , end off . It’s a bloody nuisance putting in a bollard or a lockable post ,you have to keep unlocking and locking it to get in and out of your car.
Just get the proof that it’s your private property and take it from there. No need for diagrams op you’ve explained it perfectly what the problem is.
