Vinted - not clicking all ok

I never leave a bad review , I just don’t leave any review. They only get feedback from me if they do so first ( if I’m the seller ) .

Oh I didn’t realise this! Well I leave feedback on the buyers page if they pay quickly or leave me positive feedback. I just don’t bother if they don’t bother.

Buyers do not get automatic feedback, they only get feedback if a seller leaves some for them, sellers are the only ones who get automatic feedback. @loveawineloveacrisp

I am a buyer only on vinted and it is really annoying when sellers do not leave feedback after I have opened as soon as the parcel arrives, clicked it is okay and left feedback, it would be nice if they could do the same.

I also don't understand sellers who just respond on the feedback I have left them but do not leave me any, that I find really rude as it is only on their feedback page that appears.

I have had a couple of items posted the day AFTER the "deadline" from Vinted. I thought the transaction would have been cancelled to be honest, but it looks like if you send just after the limit, you get away with it.

If people take ages to post, with no communication, why shouldn't I tell others that it took ages to be sent? It's factual.
I always say and thank when it's been sent promptly too. That's what reviews are for.

You have the item, the seller should have their money.

Vinted holding onto the cash is an incentive to buy and not being conned.
It's such an entitled mindset to think they can wait for their cash.

I'm afraid I will have upset the seller I have just bought from....

I got the notification it was ready for pick up 10 minutes before the PO closed so no way I could get there in time. I also couldn't pick up on Friday as they randomly decided not to open at all ( happens fairly frequently) and I was working Saturday during the 3 hours they are open. I'm getting chased today but of course it is Sunday...

I will run down in the morning in the hope they are going to be open... This may be my first bad review.

When you buy on vinted it tells you the time frame it should be posted in so why comment on how long it's taken someone to post. . If you want something posted quickly do you ask before buying or do you just assume they're posting a few times a week?

Of course it’s unreasonable to leave a negative review! There could be all sorts of reasons why someone doesn’t click ‘ok’ immediately.

I only recently learned why this mattered! I just took it as another ‘leave a review’ type task and ignored it. Now I know that it sends the money I would do it. Bad review seems harsh.

If course it's unreasonable to leave them a bad review. You get your money either way, how does the buyer know you're in desperate rush to receive it?
This is like people who start messaging asking when you're posting items as soon as they've paid.

The fact it asks you to click all is ok before youve even had a chance to open the package is frustrating. Like someone said a reminder function would be useful

Vinted annoys me as it asks me to click ok as soon as I’ve collected it from the locker, before I’ve had a chance to open it! A reminder would be more useful a couple of hours later

I don't always remember. I do try to.
If someone gave a negative review for that it would be unfair.

I often do that when I am not happy with the item but can’t be bothered to try and get a refund and don’t want the confrontation. So if it’s not as good quality as I would have expected from the photos or it smells damp like a charity shop. So they may well be trying to avoid giving you a bad review…

Well I don't leave reviews or click all ok where I've had to wash an item more than once to get the bad fabric conditioner smell off it or where it has an unadvertised defect.

I CBA to negotiate a discount or complain, but if they have sent something that reeks through the packaging or that didn't come with an advertised part, I'm not bothering myself with "just one click" either.

I also never read reviews, "caveat emptor" is all the review I need!

I'm not saying my system is the best - just making the point that we all have our own systems, so you can do whatever you want but you can't expect people to follow the set of rules you made up.

Sometimes I just change my mind. Maybe I find another one that’s even cheaper, maybe I “cool off” and decide I’ve already spent enough that week so will leave it for a bit.

i sell quite a bit and get my items offered on all the time, I’d say only about 20% of those I accept turn into immediate sales. I wouldn’t dream of getting the arse with someone if they didn’t buy it. If you do that you’re effectively killing the sale.

Completely unreasonable. I buy from Vinted but work away a lot so DH picks up the parcels for me. I might not actually open the parcel for another one or two days. Often the sale auto completes before I even see the item.

Sometimes I make an offer but by the time it’s accepted I’ve found and bought something else instead.

That's like the equivalent of people writing LEGALLY BINDING on Facebook statuses 😂

I know OP has said they'll leave it but I don't really get what the issue is. I buy and sell on Vinted, most items are what, under a tenner anyway? Not dependable income as others have said and it's released in 2 days anyway, automatic good feedback given. I'd understand it more if it was a designer item selling for over a hundred pounds or something. But even still not worth the bother of a bad review and waiting 48h

I click that things are OK when I’ve checked that they are. Sometimes I can’t do that immediately (I might not be home). Sometimes, it’s just not going to be a priority - just like presumably you didn’t scurry off to post it the moment it got bought.

I was unable to click “all ok” until the last possible day as the parcels were delivered while I was away. Not everyone is sat there waiting for the item to land.

Sometimes I’ll make offers to a few sellers who are selling the item I want and I buy from who accepts first. Sometimes the seller accepts the offer after I’ve already found an alternative which has been listed in the interim. And sometimes I mean to buy it but get distracted, and since I’ve cleared the notification I forget about it. Vinted offers aren’t binding and much as when I sell I hope every offer acceptance is converted to a sale, that’s not the way the platform works and there’s no point getting annoyed at buyers for using Vinted how it’s set up to work.

No you can't do that. Vinted terms do not require that buyers must click OK, that's why you will get your money anyway even if they don't.
