Vinted - not clicking all ok

@feelingalittlestuckso I’m lazy & rude if a package is delivered to my neighbour or a locker and I can’t get to straight away because of work etc? How odd!

It's like leaving a negative review because you bought something from a company that said delivery would be in 3-5 business days, and it took 5 days to show up. The seller has a time period to send the item in and it's perfectly reasonable for them to use that time.

If I ever need something quickly, I'll ask (nicely!) before I buy whether it's possible to post quickly, otherwise I assume it'll turn up when it turns up. Sometimes things are listed on Vinted for months before they find a buyer and you've got no idea when you press the "buy" button whether that's landed when the seller is sick, got a busy work week, has run out of packing tape, or just hasn't been able to treat getting your £3 top down to the post office as a high priority.

Try bare in mind just because you get the ‘buyer received’ notification doesn’t mean they’ve actually received it and able to check it over.. they could be at work, delivered to a neighbours house etc

Because it’s rude, holds up the seller’s money and it’s lazy.

for me it would depend - if someone gives me 5 stars but also states in comments that I didn't confirm immediately, fine, that's factual. But it's not OK if they also give me 1 star when I did nothing wrong.

This is wild. I never click all okay. I am a busy woman with 4 kids sometimes I don’t open the package of the day I get it

As a seller I don’t even notice how quickly someone clicks on, there are plenty of reasons why they might not be able to do it straightaway.

Absolutely, I only mean I do it as soon as I've opened and checked because I've been a seller and it's more the worry of "has something gone wrong" that I got when the buyer didn't do it. It's definitely unreasonable to leave bad reviews over this as a lot of people do judge buyers and sellers on their ratings.

seems unfair for someone to wait for their money if I'm happy yes fair enough but seller would not know if you have had the chance to check the item. Maybe you picked it up but are not in a position to open and check any time soon, maybe someone else picked it up for you and you can only check tomorrow. Getting a negative review when you did nothing wrong is not fair.

This is definitely unreasonable!! Why would you leave a poor review for this?? Your problem is with the way Vinted works, and how they have designed their app, not the buyer.
If you did this to me, I’d block you from buying from me again. That might not bother you. I am a big seller on vinted Europe with a curated vintage store; I block people if they behave very unreasonably and I would consider this in that category. It also makes other people think you are nuts because they’ll see this feedback. Remember the seller can leave you poor feedback in return and if they say ‘left me negative review because I didn’t click all ok quick enough’ you may find other people block you aswell!

Ok, I thought you meant they were just sending towards the end of the stated time. However you would've got a refund plus the item if they sent it two days after the deadline.

From my point of view, I do it straight away because it seems unfair for someone to wait for their money if I'm happy but I have a neighbour who buys so many kids things from there (I am her unofficial post office) that she only gets in touch if there's a problem. Maybe it's something like that?

I only sell on Vinted but I always leave positive feedback for buyers , I thought people liked it?

If you leave a bad review they can leave one back so no point. I’ve been tempted to do the same because I agree that it’s irritating, ditto buyers who fail to collect. You’re selling because you need money obviously but it’s such a slow process even when you post same day and it’s delivered quickly. Some wait till the eleventh hour to collect, then don’t click the ok button so you’re waiting over a week even if it was delivered within 2-3 days.

Does anyone buying on Vinted really care if a seller leaves feedback?

I would only check it if I sell something expensive, and if there are negative comments, would be more careful so I don't get scammed - film the packing and so on.

Does anyone buying on Vinted really care if a seller leaves feedback? I certainly don’t, nobody’s going to turn down my money, are they? Feedback only really matters if you’re selling.
