A friend/colleague and another man in the workplace seemed to be attracted to her. Friend left the job and had leaving drinks, the man showed up.
I think he messaged her after saying 'good luck for the future' or something. Despite liking her he didn't seem to make an advance or anything..anyway she replied saying 'Thanks a lot for coming today I appreciated it, all the best!'
Another friend is now saying 'Why did you text him that when you know he likes you, that's really not cool leading him on!'.
We're both confused, she sent a polite response to his message. I think the other friend is being a bit harsh, she's hardly leading him on, was she meant to ignore it? She didn't send anything flirty or suggestive?
