Ive lived in my lovely estate for about 9 years and there has never been a single issue, it was always peaceful and quiet, I could hear the birds singing in the garden and everyone was respectful. In the last year though one bloke in his 40s has moved into a house behind our estate and he has an exceptionally loud car which he revs up relentlessly, he is in an out all day. He sits in his car while the engine is running (very loudly) for up to 10mins at a time while he is on his phone. He has also just bought a quad bike which he endlessly works on, it is the loudest vehicle i have ever heard. He has ruined our peace and quiet and everyone in our estate can hear him effing and blinding while hes working on these vehicles and making endless noise. On the other side, an older woman moved into a social housing property which is on the other side of the road. This woman is constantly on speaker phone on her garden, she has such a loud voice it carries across all our properties. She plays low level music all day too, its not blaring but is it constant - neither of these people I suppose are doing anything wrong but there is now relentless noise and our peace has been destroyed. everyone in my estate is fed up and gutted the area seems to no longer be our peaceful little oasis. It got me thinking that it doesnt take much these days for a lovely area to be ruined by selfish people. Im not sure if im just being precious and impatient but wondered if others had experienced anything similar.
