so, the pups stumble upon an island full of dinosaurs where it turns out another dog was stranded 2.5 years ago.
so for millions of years there's been virtually no human / canine presence apart from the odd stray case away.
so what do they do??
do they protect its secrets from the world?
no! because they're self important dicks. this mystery island that's on no maps and has rarely been found -- they publicise to the world!!
they invite the scientific community in "protect" a place no one knew existed and which had existed perfectly fine before them.
everything that happens thereafter is a consequence of the human invasion.
if they'd just sailed away and left it, instead of having to show off and proclaim themselves the ones who had pt protect it, nothing would have gone wrong to need the pups protection!
ok so the kids loved it and Marshall got the main origin / growth storyline. but mainly I'm just still pissed their first response was to go to the media
