If so, what’s it like?

Went camping a fair bit when younger and then when Dc was little, around 4 years ago.

I like the adventure aspect and will do it for Dc. I also like waking up in the morning at a campsite, the breakfast outside the tent, the bikes, Dd making friends.

BUT, I hate how it’s not a comfortable sleep, hate and dread needing the loo and having to walk to get to a toilet in the middle of the night not knowing who is around.

I can do it for a couple of days, but as I get a bit older, the above issues are more annoying

I have seen a campsite online that offers glamping (always thought it sounded a bit naff!) the bell tents are larger though and with actual beds inside, could this be the answer or is it not doing it properly and having the camping experience the way it should be?

I cant camp in a normal way as I hate not being able to wash properly or be cold or sleep on the floor. Never mind using woods for toilet! But I love adventure, and I used Canopy and Stars a lot. its still camping, but very nice and comfy

I HATE camping but my kids love it. This is our compromise. I enjoy glamping, it takes all the things I hate about camping away - no need to put up a tent, or take it down, comfy bed but you get the enjoyment of campfires, BBQs and being in the outdoors.
