Otherwise I can't see how she could consider every point (including those on homosexuality, sex outside marriage, child marriage, treatment of prisoners of war and ethnic cleansing) so obviously rebutted.

Well its akin to something like confession or the marriage guidance offered in Catholcism, applied to all sorts of things though, marriage, lifestyle, family disputes, teachings of Islam, etc etc

It isn't a "court" .doesn't have any bearing on UK Laws different religious cultures live in Britain why are you frightened of Muslims specifically?

They are not courts of law. They give religious advice to Muslims. The (scholarly) advice is from sharia law, which is a religious “law”

it’s not actual law. It’s meaningless in the context of the British legal system. It’s no different to advising people on MN to LTB. It’s just dispute resolution.

As long as over all British laws ,freedoms and equalites are upheld in these courts there is nothing wrong with them.

However I have not listened to the whole thing. A clip posted earlier the Oxford uni says " Tommy and your thugs and outside there are people "ironing against you ". Now isn't that a stupid comment ? And claiming that "no Muslims " believe that isis are following scriptures ? Again when isis had people in orange jumpsuits beheading them there was lots of evidence that they were following scripture and that in Islam unlike said the Catholic faith there is no one supreme head like the pope so these hadiths etc can be interpreted like anyone wants them to be

There are around 30 Sharia “councils” in the UK but these are not courts of law. The Sharia councils’ decisions are based on Islamic religious laws and cannot overrule the decisions of UK courts or make decisions that are contrary to UK law.

There are none that have any legal status, or powers of imprisonment, etc. If people want to take moral guidance from religious leaders they can in all religions.
