M&S advert for crotchless thongs

Doom scrolling on fb as cant sleep.
An advert pops up on my feed from M&S for crotchless thongs. Have I actually fallen asleep and am dreaming ?! WTAF is M&S thinking?!! They appear to be stocking Anne Summers-talk about rebrand of underwear dept!

WTF would the point of a crotchless thong be? Where been would the fabric from the front go through to the thong part? 🤣

Omg I got that advert too! About ten minutes ago. I was like, wtf is going on with my algorithm 😂 then the next item shown was a smart black work dress!

Oh come on, all the 'What's the big deal?' replies are so ridiculous. M+S underwear dept is the home of stout, solid, granny pants and comfy bras. Not porn knickers ffs.

There's not much to thongs anyway, so what's left if they're crotchless?

I do think of M&S as the home of sensible cotton undies, though, even though I have bought silk knickers there.

Would be cheaper to go to the dental aisle at boots for some dental tape but apart from eewww gross I wouldnt buy it sounds revolting not sure the problem

M&S stocks loads of other brands online.

Ann Summers lingerie is one of dozens of brands they sell online. Doesn’t seem like any kind of big deal to me. They’re just knickers. It’s not like they’re stocking whips and dildos.
