To complain about the changes to the Radio 1 line up?

Rickie and Melvin are being replaced by Jeremiah Asiamah (sp)

Dean Mcculouch (sp) sacked and replaced with Milo and Rosie

The influencer GK Barry given a show

Other changes that dont affect me 😩

Why???!!

Can't stand Jeremiah and literally switch off whenever he replaces Mollie King and he and his fellow 'cappuccino boy' 🤢 Matt Edmonson are on

Seems like the properly trained djs are being replaced with influencers

I also felt like Charlie used to bully Melvin, so its weird that she stays and he goes

Radio 2 … “proper” DJs who knew about music replaced by a stream of (unfunny) Comedians. Most of the bigger shows don’t even pick their own music, they are just there to read email & “banter” with their “crew”. No wonder numbers are tanking.

Didnt they do like media studies and then lots of community radio etc

Is Charlie the woman on mid morning at the moment with the worst laugh on radio?
She literally laughs at absolutely anything. Childish and awful to listen to.

I dont listen to radio 2 but I know its all comedians

And the same comedians - all the same ones who get all the same gigs...

God its a mess

😄😄 yes, the one with the cockney/Essex accent

Shes so smug imo, and really creates an atmosphere with lovely melvin

I reckon she wants Greg's job when he goes

I haven’t listened to the radio since Spotify was invented. Absolutely no idea why anyone would submit themselves to someone else’s terrible music choices and shite banter!

So long as they keep the 7.30 am news...
I won't be impressed if I need another radio station.
All I want is news at 7.30am, and no Victoria Patterson. Hence im on radio 1 currently.

i haven't listened to Radio 1 since Mark and Lard left the station. And even then that was the only thing I tuned in for. Even Radio 2 seems dumbed down and too young for me now.

I said that about Jordan North and came crawling straight back to radio 1
