Are you a hummer or a whistler?

If so, why??

My husband wanders around the house, generally making noise... WHY???

I think men do it because they want everyone to know they’re there. It’s incredibly entitled.

I generally have a tune in my head more or less all the time - whatever I've heard most recently quite often. I hum without thinking about it if I'm relaxed. It takes conscious effort not to (which I do at work). I'd try first to see if you can train yourself to be unbothered by it, before asking your DH to try but to do it.

Hummer. I don’t even know that I’m doing it. I can’t abide whistlers though, with their nasty tuneless noise.
