AIBU to feel mildly irritated by 'congratulations again' comments online?

AIBU unreasonable to be mildly irritated/ amused by the people who comment “congratulations again” on social media posts? Like, look at me, I’m in the inner circle and already knew this important information?!

Well, if they’ve already said congrats in person and then they post congrats online, it looks like they might struggle with their short term memory. If they ignore the post then it’s why are they ignoring it. I think YABU and overthinking, they probably only think about congratulating the poster and not ‘I want to demonstrate something to Hackedoffinoldage ‘.

I think a social media break may be a good thing for you if this sort of thing annoys you! Social media is mostly performative so just scroll on or stop using if it is irritating you
