My daughters 6

6 yr olds should definitely still be in a booster

rwalker · 16/07/2026 11:53

I don’t understand why you think any of us would know

Barbarella73 · 16/07/2026 11:50

For heaven’s sake OP. Yet another thread about this ‘relationship’. Would you ever cop on!

Is this the one with the toothbrush collection🙄

Yes, and the numerous other ones.

How has he not run for the hills?

Well it would be illegal to drive your 6 year old around without a car seat
....
So. Probably that.

Weird that you'd let your child in the car with someone you seemingly don't trust or are able to have a conversation with....

I thought the same. Is this man her dad and why does OP not know about booster seats for her child?

MageKing · 16/07/2026 11:30

TYou have a 6 year old. He has driven her somewhere in the past. It seems like a no brainer to me - he has one for her? But i fyou're this suspicious either your gut instinct says he's not trustworthy, in which case, he's not for you. Or you're completely paranoid in which case you're not for him and you shold spend some time working on yourself.

PS my DC don't need boosters. I still have one in my car becuase we do occassionally drive nephew around and recently w ewere goign to ditch it as he doesn't need it any more and then we realised that we might have family visiting so we tossed it back in the boot in case. Pretty normal.

Gardenisablooming · 16/07/2026 11:29

Surely your dd has a carseat of sorts?maybe he got one for his car and forgot to tell you .

frenchnoodle · 16/07/2026 11:28

Its not exactly a bizarre thing for someone who regularly has a 6 year old to have in their car.

Yetone · 16/07/2026 11:26

Just ask him. Most people would ask straight away.
How can you be in a relationship with someone you can’t talk to?

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 16/07/2026 11:25

Is your boyfriend very short?
Could it be his?

Iocanepowder · 16/07/2026 11:22

What does your daughter sit in when she is in his car?

pinkspeakers · 16/07/2026 11:19

I think a child's booster seat is about the least dodgy thing someone could have in their car.

FiveShelties · 16/07/2026 11:09

Is this the one with the toothbrush collection🙄

And the one she 'accused of meeting a girl' because he went for a coastal drive on a sunny day

BauhausOfEliott · 16/07/2026 11:17

OP, you really aren't in any state of mind to be in a relationship. You've posted about a dozen threads in a matter of weeks in which you are convinced that your boyfriend is cheating on you, for reasons ranging from a typo in one of his text messages to him going for a drive on a sunny day to owning more than one toothbrush. You also announced that you wanted a baby with him when you'd only been with him five months.

Nobody here knows if your boyfriend is shagging someone else but JFC, this isn't healthy for either of you.

BillieWiper · 16/07/2026 10:58

Ok sorry Idk if that's an age for a booster or not. I don't drive. But if so that could be the reason. Just ask him! Not in an accusatory way.

Yeah it's normal for a 6 year old to have a booster seat

dnadiscoveryquery · 16/07/2026 11:17

You have to be on a wind up with all these petty threads op.

Please spend some time single, and do some maturing first.

Do you have dc?

Wherethedogsits · 16/07/2026 11:16

Yabu to not have just asked him.

How long have you been together?
Why do YOU think he has a booster seat?

WhatAMarvelousTune · 16/07/2026 11:12

is this dodgy looking

What do you think is going on? A secret child? A secret relationship with a woman who has a child? A plan to abduct a child??

Just ask him.

FiveShelties · 16/07/2026 11:09

Is this the one with the toothbrush collection🙄

Weeellokthen · 16/07/2026 11:08

He's got a secret child
Family child
Planning on abducting a child but is car safety conscious
Got it for yours
Or else, you could ask him instead of us because he's the one in the know 😂

Decacaffeinatednow · 16/07/2026 11:05

I'd run a mile from you if I was him.

I’m now staring to think you’re on a wind up with these threads.

You are not mature enough to be in a relationship.

gamerchick · 16/07/2026 11:02

Ask him?

Its handy to have. I keep a car seat in the car and I don't have any littlies. Grandson isn't a massively regular visitor but I don't see the point in taking it out.
