The most annoying fucking thing in the world

I live with someone who puts the butter dish in the fridge?

Why the fuckbwiuld you do that?

Every morning without fail I have to piss around dragging cold hard lumps of butter around my toast.

We get through so much butter its not like its going to go off if left iut, we are not living in a tropical climate.

Really grinds my gears

People putting dirty plates etc NEXT to the dishwasher. I am literally the only person who puts stuff inside it.

I have this. Someone is always piling the dishes up next to the dishwasher, and then leaving me to fill it.

Trouble is, I live on my own 🤦‍♂️

At least the butter is in the dish. I live with someone who puts empty jars back in the fridge. That is the most annoying fucking thing in the world.

My brother is a fridge butter heathen. I put the knife in a cup of boiling water for a bit before I put my toast on when I stay at his house. My Kerrygold goes in a lovely Eoin O Conner butter dish in the press.

Me too and I like it on crumpets too, but rock hard butter is a bastard when you are making sandwiches.

I'm lactose intolerant and only discovered lactose-free butter a few years ago and I can't get enough of it now. 😋

OP, would semi-melting your butter work for you? If you put some in a cup, mic'd it, then stirred it around it could work. I could get behind fully melting butter and dipping toast into it as another option. 😋 The only other alternative I can think of might be taking a hammer to the dominant hand of the offending person you live with. 🤔

I have a fan assisted electric butter dish , temperature adjustable, that keeps the butter cool in the summer and spreadable in the winter, it is a total "first world problems" "indulgence , but you will have to wrench it from my cold dead hands to take it from me.

Pray tell me more, from where did you obtain this device? I love my butter firm but not rock solid, bread tearing cold.
