I know there have probably been other threads asking this, but really .... why?

Why would you say he is a "man of the people?"'(Public school educated stockbroker / multi millionaire)

Genuinely, what appeals about him?

If you voted Brexit, have you forgotten that he resigned from public office that day after his Leave campaign won?

Meh, don’t take it personally @lightseeker as it is ‘pick n mix’ Bingo, ie not all words used by just one poster. I am of the same mind as @PrettyLittleRose , and there is now a match to watch … I have my little St George’s flag to wave in support of England, but I won’t be holding my breath if they are going to be playing their usual boring kicking-around game.

And no, I am not a Farage fan, and would not vote Reform, I am just sick of the narrow minded drivel that the left come out with when it comes to people who support Reform. All thick and racist. What gives you the impression that immigrants are prioritised over UK citizens (and I'm doing you the courtesy of imagining that when you say citizens you mean those who've attained UK citizenship)?

I get angry when my niece keeps getting passed over for housing association properties.by families who don't come from the area and can't speak English.

Human history is the history of migration @Swiftie1878 . It's inevitable. Those who can, will seek opportunities wherever they can. Nations are not static, but constantly evolving. Climate change will probably mean we all have to migrate within the next 100 years anyway. As in any wave of migration, some will adapt better than others.
