How can I stop spiders crawling on me while I sleep

Wtf! I just woke up to a spider crawling across my face!!!!! Yes it was small but my goodness me

Can I do anything to prevent this from happening 😤😤😤😤😤

Ensure the bed is positioned centrally in the room, a safe distance from all walls. Bed must be a frame of 4 thin legs and bedding should never touch the floor. Consider a mosquito type net that adheres to all rules mentioned.

Before getting into bed, perform a fingertip search until suitably terrified. Squeeze eyes shut. Pray regardless of any belief.

It's not foolproof, but you'll have a fighting chance.

Well, if you also have a pet fur grade vac plugged in and ready to sweep the full under-bed area each time before you get into bed, you do.
There has been more than 1 time DH has leaned over to put the bedside light off, dark happens, and then in a split second the light's back on with a "Holy shit, look at that one" as he spots an arachnid on the carpet in his sleepy peripheral vision.

I don't know if scorpions would fight, but I once had two different spiders in the bath. Decided to deal with it when I came home from work.

Came back to one spider and a leg.

Nah, this won"t always work. The pampered cat doesn't always have hunting instincts and would be happy just being a spectator 😂

Sticky traps along skirting boards and under beds and screens on windows in addition to setting your bed in the middle of a fire ring.

This can backfire!

I'm terrified of spiders so when I saw my new kitten eat one, I quickly started holding him up towards any future spiders to dispose of them. Then one night I woke up to a fat kitten landing on my face with all his claws out. I ended up in A&E getting treated for a scratch on my eyeball. He'd spotted a spider high on the wall above my pillow and tried his best to do his job.

He's still a spider eater now at 13 years old. Luckily his sister is a very accomplished fly hunter.

My current cat likes to chase them but let's them go. My previous cat loved them, he would chomp any he could get his paws on and then look at me all proud of himself as if to say 'I rescued Mummy from the eight-legged monster!'

I woke up to a squashed spider on my pillow - it wasn't a small one Confused

makes me wonder if there's some nightmarish version of Toy Story going on as soon as you're asleep/out of the room involving spiders, flies, wasps, bees, moths .... any other type of creepy crawlie, which involves as much willy-wiping as possible on your pillow. Grin

Leave your washing on the line overnight so they go and dark on it instead and rub their spider willies all over your decoy clothes.

Cats enjoy chasing spiders so that could work too.
TBH it would freak me out and I would be straight off to the mosquito net emporium.

Go to the park or your garden if you're lucky cut some elderflower small twigs will do put them on your pillow and foot of bed. Spiders hate the smell. I get bitten by spiders and have had reactions this really helps

Spiders hate peppermint, so get some peppermint oil mix some with water and spray around the room

Free range gecko. Upside- gecko eats spiders. Downside- gecko crawling on you while you sleep.

What about a bunch of frogs? That could work. 🤗
The downside might be the ribbiting if OP is a light sleeper, though. 🤔

one of my colleagues had massive spiders in her house and a mosquito net worked.
