AIBU to question Snag Tights using very plus-size models?

Is the moral to this story that all fat people need to be naked? If so I,am overdressed.

All brands should show models who fit the full range of their sizes.

I like seeing how the tights will look on my legs. They often look thinner and not such bright colours when on larger people. Plus fat people are allowed to exist and have clothes. So why shouldn't we see them.

There are certainly valid reasons to not buy from Snags which I can get worked up about.
Fat models isn't one of them.

They're not going to post photos of models with Nora Batty knees and a waist band digging in, are they? The images seem more like style tips to me.

The ones of customers on the 'this is how they fit on different sizes' is good.

I actually prefer Better Tights but as a fat woman, it's handy to know how things might look on my body.
When I was thin, it was handy to know how things might look on my thin body, too.

So your complaint is that a company that makes products for fat people, shows how their products look on fat people?

Most of their "models" are promoting fetish only fans sites, Snag is known for it.

I have no issue with the size of the models.

I do take issue with how raunchy some of their content is though, given I just want to buy tights for day-to-day wear…!

This is meant as a plain question, not goady, but have a step back and consider if that was an ad for any other lingerie brand and the model was a slim twenty-something woman in the same pose with those flowers.

They cater to plus size, so of course it makes sense to have plus size models. That being said, it doesn't seem very balanced and most of the models are in the much larger sizes.

I love snag tights but haven't really seen models in a/b/c sizes. I am a size 10 hourglass with large boobs but a small waist and bravissimo don't really do clothes any more. I'd wondered if snag clothes might meet my needs as it can be a struggle to get swimming costumes or certain styles of clothes that are flattering and have room for larger breasts without flapping like a tent on the waist. Snag don't seem to show many models in 'regular' sizes though, only plus sizes. I think they should show both.

I think if you are selling extremely large bras and “chubb rub” shorts you’ll need to demonstrate these on larger models. What I dont like about the site is it’s try hard “edgy”. For example there is a larger lady on there right now modelling suspenders with a bunch of yellow roses covering her bare bum crack. Why?

I love Snags. I don’t particularly want to see scantily clad morbidly obese people but at the same time it’s good they are represented.

They're advertising to their market and it's going very well. Other brands could do with paying attention.

Snag have done this for years. Even fat women want to be able to buy clothes funnily. And the fat shaming of the women modelling their wares has been done to death.

I'm more concerned about their attitude towards promoting fetishes and the doubling down they did when they were called out for supporting strangulation during sex. Shitty business but not because of the weight of their models.
