Yes its gross that men do this. Totally out of order. But think about the aftermath.

Flaming Nora! "Think about the aftermath"? The aftermath that a disgusting man who committed a sex offence has face consequences?

Yeah, I'm very much in favour of that "aftermath".

I think Reporting to the police is just daft. He will be mortified when he wakes up. He was probably drunk after watching the football. Do you really want to go that far. I think you will lose your friend and embarrass the kids. As they will find out somehow.
I would just message him back saying how disgusting he is and Never to do it again. I think friend will also turn on you if you make such a bug deal of it.

Do you excuse the Sexual abuse, rape or the murder of women and children when a man has had too much to drink ? If this drunk man had sent the photo to a 16 year old girl would you say that is ok ? It is women like you that allow men to think their predatory behaviour is acceptable.

I don't think the police are going to visit anyone over sending an unsolicited dick pic. It happens all the time, unfortunately, and it's an absolute bane, but i'd be stunned if there's any forces that have the manpower to visit people.

They'll tell OP to delete and block him.

Why don't you think they will visit?
They visited me when I reported one.

What a load of drama. I would have deleted it and pretend I'd never seen it. Your poor friend.

I agree.
He knows what he did , let him worry about that .
I like a peaceful life .

Tell me you're a doormat without telling me you're a doormat.

Ffs raise your standards 🙄

Not so much a doormat, more an enabler.

More like YOUR poor friends. 🙄

MumofOne28 · 24/06/2026 10:29

Well done OP you did the right thing. Why do men think women want their dick pics 🤢🤢🤢

Iwanttobeafraser · 24/06/2026 10:28

God these men are disgusting. The thing that really confuses me is why and how they are so entitled to send it to their wive's FRIEND. And it's so common.

I hope your friend kicks his ass to the curb.

Lulubo1 · 24/06/2026 10:26

What a horrid man, I can't believe some PP think you should let it go because he was drunk. So, if someone was raped, stabbed or murdered....it's ok if the person was drunk!? You did the right thing telling your friend. You are a good friend and I hope she sees it.

ERthree · 24/06/2026 10:26

Not only would i be telling her but i would be phoning the Police. Women allow men to get away with this crap because we don't want to cause trouble, well he didn't care about any upset he would cause when he sent it. Time to stamp this out.

CanOnlyBeMyself · 24/06/2026 10:24

An adult male on TikTok in the middle of the night, sending women revolting photos. Wow, what a catch. Your friend should be persuaded to up her game OP.

I wasn't going to respond to this but it's bugging me, are you for real? Where's the line for you of what criminal acts are ok as long as the perpetrator is drunk?

OP posts:
Superscientist · 24/06/2026 10:23

Alcohol reduces inhibitions so I always take "but I was drunk" as to mean "In normal circumstances I want to be a predatory male/female but know it's not socially acceptable, when I have had a drink I think fuck it, I'm going to do it anyway"

Being drunk isn't the cause it's the facilitator and I think football should come with a government health warning. It saddens me how the rates of domestic abuse increases with televised football tournaments

heathspeedwell · 24/06/2026 10:22

Your friend is very lucky to have a friend like you. You handled it perfectly.

Indeed my poor friend who has had her life blown up by the actions of her partner. I'm very glad you are not my friend if you think this is in anyway acceptable

Which would give him the message that it's OK to send messages like that at best, or give the message that OP was OK with it at worst.

would you not want to know if your partner was sending dick pics behind your back? If someone is openly sending pictures like that, what else are they doing!

REP22 · 24/06/2026 10:16

Anyusernamewilldo8963 · 24/06/2026 10:05

I have told her and she's understandably devastated. He has messaged to apologise which I have also ignored and as many of you guessed his excuse was he was drunk 🙄
She knows she has my full support for however she wants to handle it and I won't be doing anything about it until/if shes ready for me to.
I'm surprised and saddened by the few PP who are totally minimising this, it's been made a specific crime for a reason and to dismiss it as 'oh well he was drunk/it was a mistake etc' is very disheartening for all women suffering from the criminal actions of men. When my (now Ex) Husband raped me, was that ok because we were married?

Bless you. I'm so sorry. People underestimate how horrible and upsetting this can be. So often it's brushed off as "drunken mistake" "only joking" or dismissed as drama/overreacting. For some, maybe. But for so many others, very much not. It's upsetting. You sound like a good friend. Hope you will be OK. x

He would take it as a green light if she didn't say anything though. And her friend deserves to know.

Rachelshair · 24/06/2026 10:14

What a creep. Why is he not yet blocked?Drunk is not an excuse.
I can't believe some people wouldn't have said anything! That's condoning the behaviour.

FreyaW · 24/06/2026 10:14

Suggest you check those other things he sent you out asap...if still viable.
Maybe there's sonething in them..testing the water, to see how you react...before dending you an unsolicited dick pic.

And who is responsible for the husband's actions @Blondiebeachbabe, because it's sure as he'll not his wife or the Op.

Op - you have done the right thing. Sorry that you have gone through this absolutely awful situation.
