I really don’t want to put the range cooker on during a heatwave, the thought of it fills me with dread ! Got me thinking, what dinners do you do when it’s so hot? I need ideas other than just salad.

We do “picnic” dinners for the kids. Sandwiches, fruit platters, wraps, cold pasta salad, things like fattoush and tabbouleh are really quick and easy to make

Tuna pasta bake
Fish and chips
Steak salad with cashew nuts
Bread sticks and a variety of fruit and cheese platters

All nice tv dinners for the world cup games

Pizza oven pizzas
Lots of chicken wraps, lamb pittas, fajitas with the meat cooked in the air fryer.
Burritos, tacos with the mix made on the hob.
