Husband coming home pissed from pub

He’s been watching football down the road, is absolutely bladdered and has fallen into bed and sharted right next to me.

Luckily still clothed but I’ve sent him downstairs. What is wrong with these men? I am dreading the rest of the tournament, it’s a bloody Wednesday night and he has work tomorrow!

He is NBU to have a few beers enjoying the footy (was a great match).

My comment was more aimed towards those mentioning about not needing a drink to watch the football or watching it with a cup of tea etc.

I don't think there is anything wrong with drinking while watching the game is all I was saying. Getting drunk also is not a complete no-no or game changer and I don't think OP would have been as bothered by his getting pissed if he hadn't then shit himself!

My Dh would be mortified if this happened to him but I've never seen him drunk, tbf. I read the post to him and he laughed, though! Your dh needs to learn how to manage his drinks! Footy isn't the excuse he might think it is! Hope you got some sleep, OP! Ick!

My DH and I watched the football, with beer and yes we were cheering and shouting at the TV. We are a huge football loving family so there is nothing wrong with watching the game and enjoying a few drinks whether that is at home in front of the TV or down the local.

However, the sharting? WTAF? Gross. 😳

That's disgusting. Hopefully he's suitably embarassed enough that he won't repeat getting into this level of state. If there was a pattern of this type of behaviour clearly OP would have mentioned it. Sounds like an unfortunate one off. I'd make it clear he can wash his own clothes/sheets and there better not be a repeat.

Are they really his best boxers when they'll always remind you of the time he shat himself? If you're lucky they won't survive a hot wash. They're about a tenner each/3 for 30, if he's paid more he's a fool.
