That’s my Friday rant.
Far right men thinking they’re sorting everything out with their riots to protect the women. Maybe women should riot about just men.

also I know it’s not all men, but it is men.

I’m not getting into this again, every time I get my fingers burned!

Because you don't listen to what people explain to you. I remember from another thread.

I have to say that your post is in poor taste. But to answer your question. Mick Philpot springs to mind. Or perhaps men murdering their own children doesn't count in your book? Because there are plenty more cases of that besides Philpot.

Yes I remember, he burned his house to the ground for insurance money and was utterly reckless as to the fact his kids were inside. Killing all of them in the process.

No one is saying that, just that loyalists by definition do not consider themselves to be Irish.

Irish people can also disagree with immigration policy without identifying as British, surely

I’m sure a white British or Irish man has committed random mass killing or attempted murder of children, but the last example that springs to my mind is Dunblane? Surely there is one after this?

Irish and proud.
Get over it.

What on earth are you talking about? The overwhelming majority of the people rioting in Belfast, which you specifically referenced in your comment, do not consider themselves Irish in the slightest.

It’s like listening to that Fox News coverage of claiming all the protesters want is to be Irish and have Ireland back. 🤦‍♀️

The people you talk about are British, they would be disgusted at you referring to them as Irish men not once but several times 😂

OK if you’re introducing religion as a topic, what’s the context? Do you want to move on to discussing how the DWP sort data? If so, why? Or do you want to make a point about religious groups relying on benefits? If so, what’s the point and why?

Yes, yes, no and not particularly.

His father and mother hold responsibility for that attack. What were they waiting on. His father getting asylum is relevant as he’d have never been here otherwise.

That’s speculation, not evidence. Parents are not held responsible for an adult child’s criminal actions unless there’s proven direct negligence or facilitation and nothing like that has been established here. The perpetrator alone is responsible in law.

Do you want to hold all parents of adult criminals responsible for their child’s crimes? Or just this specific case?

EmeraldShamrock000 · 12/06/2026 20:57

HobGobblynne · 12/06/2026 20:55

He was British because he was born and raised in the UK - that’s all that’s relevant to nationality. His father’s asylum status or background doesn’t change that and isn’t the cause of the attack

The question was “when did a Brit last commit a similar crime”

The Southport stabbings is a valid answer to that question.

I don’t remember seeing any confirmed evidence that his father was to blame for indoctrinating him. If you grew up hearing similar, then are you at risk of committing mass murder? not sure where you’re headed with that comment?

Regardless of motive, his nationality was British, which was the question asked.

There UK government doesn’t track welfare claimants by religion.
Some communities suffer higher poverty rates for some reason. Levels of employment.

A figure was given that half of asylum seekers are fully reliant on benefits 8 years after having their claim approved.

No one mentioned asylum seekers, we’re talking about immigrants.

EmeraldShamrock000 · 12/06/2026 20:47

In Southport the attacker was indoctrinated by his father, his cheap talk of savagery before he came to the UK. He was enabled by his parents who had many opportunities to stop him, allowing him fester.
I grew up with oldies talking crap about the troubles? It plants seeds, his father was involved in a brutal battle.
