AIBU to ask if football fans at home are waiting until 10pm?

Yes my son did - he actually went to one of the matches (not England) in the US at Easter. He’s just gone to bed (he doesn’t live with me but has just texted me). I’m still up but watching something else (Harlots).

It might have been ABIT embarrassing if they hadn't won against a team that's not in the World Cup.

DS has GCSE geography tomorrow morning. I wasn't happy with the original kick off time but gave in on the condition it was straight to bed at full time. When it shifted to an hour later I insisted on half-time. He went to bed in an awful grump but does seem to have gone to sleep.

I'm just glad exams finish on Monday - he can stay up as long as he wants after that, I don't care!

Watching it. Or rather it’s on in the background while I’m scrolling. It’s hard to get too excited about a match that’s a friendly just before the tournament. Will be watching properly when it starts. Will be putting up my wall chart tomorrow where the tradition in our house is to diligently fill it in with scores etc for the first 5 games and then forget til the final

Yes. DH, DC1 & DC2 are. DC3 is younger and we've told them that the game was cancelled due to the lightening so theyve gone to bed now (will deal with the meltdown about the lie tomorrow). I couldnt care less and am going to bed at usual time

So will I, I live near, very very near 3 pubs! And I don't even like football, don't watch it but still get to hear if someone scores, lol.
