To be totally APPALLED by how Robinson referred to Henry Nowak in his “speech” in Southampton on Tuesday?

I’ve just seen a clip of this in a Guardian article on the main agitators in Southampton on Tuesday.
TR refers to Henry Nowak in this way: “White privilege?! Does Henry swear word beginning with F Nowak look as if he had white privilege when he was lying on the floor?”
He then smirks as he looks down, clearly proud of himself for delivering such an eloquent speech [sarcasm].
I’m beyond disgusted by how the name of this beautiful young man, who has lost his life in the most brutal way, was used in such a disrespectful way in order to rouse a rabble and boost TR’s ego.
AIBU to say that over the last two days TR, NF and their ilk are really showing us who they are and what motivates them?

It's not acceptable. But these are TR fans we are talking about. Lowlife scum just like him.

Lots on here are trying to tone police criticism and shift the attention away from the policing itself to those who notice the problems with the policing.

I don’t know if you know this but Tommy Robinson has been very positive about the Sikh community, in a way the protests about race than about the establishment policies and the over correction in policing after the MacPherson report.

Henry Novak’s father said he didn’t want the case to cause division, he didn’t say that it should not be discussed and Starmer is cynically trying to shut down debate.

I don’t know if you know this but Tommy Robinson has been very positive about the Sikh community

Oh has he in his graciousness decided they’re ’some of the good ones’? The issue is not him being positive about a specific community, the issue is him thinking he gets to decide which races and religions are acceptable and which aren’t.

Genuinely, who is Ali Yusuf?

I know who Zia Yusuf is, but either I’m not discerning, or Ali isn’t his name.

Yes apologies, my mistake.

Ali Yusuf would wipe the floor with you. It's no wonder the more discerning of voters align with him.

Oh sorry @Jellox you were referring to TR. It's hard to keep up with the equally rabid like obession with Reform and Robinson.

LuckyHazelFox · 04/06/2026 17:19

Jellox · 04/06/2026 16:56

Yep!!

Imagine supporting a man who uses his supporters money to live abroad.

How can someone say someone cares about this country when he doesn’t even live here, yet has the nerve to talk about immigration.

It’s no wonder why his supporters tend to have such low IQs.
No one will half a brain cell would swallow his utter nonsense.

The only thing that matters in all of this is that Henry Nowak’s grieving family explicitly asked for Tommy Ten Names, Farage and their ilk not to exploit Henry’s death this way, and they have ignored it.

Great point.

You also can't get your head around why the majority can't understand why this is a thing. You're calling somebody deranged by shouting about a non issue.

Nope! I responded reasonably when the OP asked where they said that they hadn’t raised any complaints - the OP hadn’t specified what complaints they had raised but suggested that they HAD raised complaints so I asked for some examples.

This would only be viewed as ‘trying to catch OP out’ if OP was telling porkies.

Ok, keep playing dumb. We all totally believe you were looking for templates people can use to email their local MPs.

Tommy Robinson is a grifting cunt.

He will use anything or anybody to get his hands on the gullibles cash so he can swan off to Spain.

That this terrible tragic murder of Henry Nowak is being used to score political points is utterly shameful his poor family

But Tommy Robinson and Nigel Farage are men who have no shame so I am not in the least bit surprised

Wes Streeting using it to score political points is different I guess. He is so out of touch. Another own goal to Reform.

Wes Streeting has just lost the argument against Nigel Farage https://share.google/5GdaPIucUDXfrTSKF

LuckyHazelFox · 04/06/2026 16:20

I take it Wes Streeting comparing Nigel Farage's response to 1930s Hitler isn't stoking hate and division. Nope, course not.

AValuedFriend · 04/06/2026 14:22

OMG! You are so right. How is everyone else missing this obvious point?

Putting a swear word between his first and second names is by far the worst thing that ever happened to Henry Nowak.

What have we all been thinking? We must immediately forget that Henry Nowak was violently murdered and left to die with the Police looking on, arresting him and accusing him of racism and mocking him when he begged for help. Surely that is nothing in comparison with inserting a swear word in his name.

Thank God we've got you to give put perspective on the real problem.

What a revolting post. We can't do anything about Henry's murder, no-one can bring him back.

We CAN however, show him some respect and dignity but USING HIS NAME PROPERLY, and not adding 'fucking' in the middle of it.

If you can't see the OP's point then maybe the least you can do is not use this thread to make pointless, sarcastic comments.

Now expand that along the political spectrum. Every time you see a cause, no matter what and it gets violent.

Happy to.

I don’t think anyone who resorts to violence to make a point should get that point heard.

You don’t have to clarify that everytime, some of us only believe in peaceful protests across the whole political spectrum.

Hurl wheelie bins around?

They were going around smashing windows, destroying people’s property and trying to intimate them.

There are videos going around of the damage that these ‘men’ have caused.
People were filming it.

One woman’s house had all of her car windows smashed in and bricks thrown through her house window which nearly hit her young child.

The were kicking at the doors of homes, trying to scare people.

11 police officers were injured and so was a police dog.

It is lucky that most people disagree with their actions because a larger crowd could have done even more serious damage.

This has been seen many times in the UK. It's not in but I wish these particular protestors would stop walking into the trap. They are predominantly white.

Jellox · 04/06/2026 15:56

5MinuteArgument · 04/06/2026 15:32

People are angry about what's happened and they have a right to be angry. People don't need to be whipped up, they're already angry and making their anger known.

Yes, it would be better if people didn't hurl wheelie bins around. But I wish Starmer and co would look at the issues and address the problems which this case raises instead of telling people that they just need to shut up.

I actually think that as soon as people resort to hurling wheelie bins around etc, they lose the right to be taken seriously or have their concerns heard.

I’ve got a disabled child that I spend a great deal of time teaching “it’s okay to be angry, but it’s not acceptable to hurt people.” Or “I will listen to you when you’ve stopped shouting at me,” IMO the same applies to grown adults.

If they want to be taken seriously, they should behave seriously.

That was in relation to the OP suggesting that they had in fact done other more productive things other than just complaining about Robinson. The OP said that I was assuming they’d done nothing which I reasonably responded asking them to prove it by showing us the emails they’d sent.

This actually would’ve been helpful to anyone else who is thinking of writing complaints by email as it would be a useful template.

Hardly unhinged…

I didn't see the post calling you deranged. I'm also not referring to your comment about wasting energy, I'm talking about the one I responded to where you're asking OP to disclose her emails?
