To think Nigel Farage should be locked up?

He was inciting violence with his “address to the nation” speech, calling for rage.

Meanwhile, he doesn’t care when women are actually murdered by the police

https://x.com/nigel_farage/status/1371213488882847749?s=46

Surely enough is enough and they need to take action?

Nigel Farage MP (@Nigel_Farage) on X

We must not allow the tragic murder of a young woman turn into attacks on men and attacks on the police.

Sorry op but two tier policing is absolutely a thing. Here in Birmingham especially the police go and speak to the leaders of the Muslim community when some of the younger generation are acting less than desirable, if that was anyone else not Muslim they would be arrested. The police are absolutely afraid of being called racist and so is Starmer. Open your eyes !

I think this is massively interesting actually.

it’s logical to question what are the aims of arrest vs community action.

you have presented it as a softly softly approach to Muslims because the police are scared of upsetting them.

what if it’s not that, what if it’s from many years of community partnership and investment and understanding the most effective way to get the same result?

lets say Muslims: (there are stereotypes here and real life is more nuanced I hope people can consider the theme of this without jumping on the detail)

  • answer to god, not their law of (any) land
  • the judgement of god is what matters to them
  • they don’t respond particularly to legal/ man made “punishments” for the above reasons

if however, their community elders/ imans have a more effective form of rehabilitation, ie mentoring, community pressure, even community punishment- can you see why in these cases the police would consider this avenue?
Working in partnership to get a better result?

i think “average” people assume everyone is terrified of the police / justice system and crime can be stopped with an arrest or interview, or even a prison sentence.

The real world isn’t like that and no one is more aware of that than the police. Using other forms of intervention (obviously for non serious crimes) clearly has some impact- otherwise they wouldn’t do it would they?

Exactly but this poster is one of those die hard maga like sheep....waste of time arguing here...

Everyone comes at it from their political viewpoint including those who still back Labour.

hairbearbunches · 04/06/2026 08:22

@YourGoldSquid Racist working class white Britons didn't create Farage. Blair, Brown, and Cameron did.

I've long said this. Farage didn't come out of a vacuum, he's been nailed on since Blair and his 'rubbing the right's nose in diversity' rubbish.

There was a fabulous piece in the Telegraph only last week by a British Hindu with the same sentiments as yourself. It was in response to the National Trust and their latest diversity drive. Apparently, the new marketing material shows Diwali in some of the stately homes. His point was that Hindus have their own temples for that, stop rubbing the white majorities noses in this elevation of minorities, sorry global majority. Middle class luxury beliefs will do for us all, and sooner than we think.

Get a grip. Farage is right on this one. 2 tier policing based on race is undeniable. Its there in the polices own documentation and training material. Hence Labour trying to make this about Farage.

But that policing resulted in the killer being quickly arrested, brought to trial within six months, convicted and imprisoned. In the first five minutes of being called some junior police officers got it very badly wrong, but after that the police got it very right. Why is Farage not prepared to acknowledge that?

He is doing the exact thing that Starmer did by kneeling after the death of St. Floyd. He said he was angry about it. His words and actions encouraged violence and riots.

So please, spare us the moral superiority.

Thanks for saying this. May be they will get that people have had enough of this bullying from the left. Even though I would not even vote for Farage or stay in the U.K. It doesn’t interest me to silent him when the left leaders are the same. The double standards and hypocrisy are sickening.

DashItAll · 04/06/2026 08:19

OP, in the video you posted from 2021 he is arguing against having a 6pm curfew for all men. In his speech this week he condemned police actions, showed anger at the institutions that cause division and 2-tier anti-white policies, and demanded political action. Much of his speech was very similar to the reaction of many politicians, celebrities and the general public after the death of George Floyd. Did you call for them to be locked up?

YourGoldSquid · 04/06/2026 08:18

5128gap · 04/06/2026 07:36

Don't be stupid. You have no evidence whatsoever for your claim that 'the working class majority' supported the riots. Nor even that they support Farage. The election results show that the majority of the electorate do not support him.
If you want to defend the irresponsible acts of this dangerous rabble rouser, than at least have the courage to own it as your own thirst for violence rather than hiding behind 'the working classes'.

I'm assuming you condemned the BLM riots as well? If not, you are not acting on principle, but political expediency.

All violence is horrible. It should not happen in any political context. But violence in this case is not surprising. And condemning this violence, while embracing BLM violence further demonstrates a double standard. Those dumb white Britons just need to read Robin Diangelo, right? If they weren't so damn stupid, they would understand that the color of their skin and the place of their birth is responsible for all problems in the world.

You can't sh*t on people for years and then be surprised when they finally react. No sensible person condones violence. But no intelligent person denies why it occurs.

Mischance · 04/06/2026 08:18

I do think there is a case for prosecuting him, not for his political views (abhorrent though they are) but for inciting violence.

What a pile of crap. Farage is divisive, dangerous and utterly disrespectful towards Henry Nowak's family, who explicitly asked people not to exploit Henry' death to sow division and hatred.

Farage is a disgrace to humanity and to the people of this country, and so is anyone who seeks to defend him or repeat his divisive messages.

Exactly but this poster is one of those die hard maga like sheep....waste of time arguing here...

Of course everyone should be angry about Nowak's death. There is however a major chasm between acknowledging rightful anger and making very deliberate and planned public announcements calling on your supporters for cold rage, especially when you know that those supporters will take it as an instruction to riot.

CoffeeAndACroissant · 04/06/2026 08:16

The people who answered his call and turned out in Southampton were filmed giving Nazi salutes.

My Grandad fought in World War 2 against the Nazis. Farage and his followers are traitorous scum as far as I'm concerned.

It’s scary people are denying it.
Maybe they have genuinely not come across it, or maybe they have an agenda.
The agenda being “nothing to see here, look over there”.

Many deniers on these threads screaming it’s not political. How can it not be political when Henry died because of police diversity training?

EasternStandard · 04/06/2026 08:14

QuintadosMalvados · 04/06/2026 08:09

Well unfortunately something like this is going to stir up division.

There's no avoiding it.

People should be angry.

The footage of poor Henry is enough to make people angry. It’s horrendous.

And it’s obvious the training is leading to difficulty. It can’t be brushed away, it needs to be addressed.

SaturdayNext · 04/06/2026 08:14

Yes, Farage should be arrested. However, he would absolutely love being Martyr Nigel, his brain-challenged supporters would view it as a green light to go on a massive riot and looting spree, and it would take all the heat off the finances that he's so desperate not to talk about. So, on balance, I prefer to leave him to condemn himself out of his own mouth. Decent people see him for what he is.

I think Farage has made it all about Farage. As per bloody usual. Is he entirely wrong about policing in this case? No, he isn't. But he is inflammatory, tiresome and entirely self interested. I do not believe for one minute that he gives a stuff about Henry or the Nowak family or just for once he might have sat down and shut up.

Someone is a bit salty that Farage is right. And you can no longer deny it. The proof is undeniable.

And unless your called out Starmer for stoking racial violence after St. Floyd, you have no moral authority to lecture anyone about Farage encouraging "rage." Perhaps rage from the working class majority is exactly what is needed.

Starmer did not stoke racial violence.

The death of George Floyd is a shameful stain on my country. No person should die at the hands of the police in a circumstance where they pose no imminent threat. Without question, minorities face challenges I will never face. Racism is real. What I object to is the deification of George Floyd; a meth head with a massive criminal record, an abuser of women. But every person has an absolute right to due process. Floyd was denied this fundamental right. Did he "deserve" to die? Absolutely not. But did you know that, proportionally, white and non-black meth heads are killed much more often? George Floyd was a political cudgel used to silence working class non-blacks in the US. His death was used as a political tool to defeat Donald Trump in 2020. It's amazing that the riots stopped just after the election.

Starmer is simply representative of the elite mindset. Sure, he's a wet blanket. But Blair wasn't. Brown wasn't. The pig-diddler Cameron wasn't. Whether due to fear or in an effort to gain voting blocks, they have systematically eroded the ability of white Britons to speak plainly. To call out that minority men were abusing white British girls but being shielded by a government and media too cowardly to tell the truth.

Racist working class white Britons didn't create Farage. Blair, Brown, and Cameron did.

The UK has been a blessing to the world. Its opposition to slavery, universal suffrage, the magna carta, political thinkers like Locke and Mill. These things literally changed the world for the better.

Is it any surprise that when the elites sh*t on miraculous British accomplishments, that people push back? But these elites have made pride in British accomplishments a criminal offense.

The British people should have so much pride in how their country and culture have literally transformed the world for the better. But instead, they have been told that they must have contempt for their history and culture. Instead of pride and a patriotic spirit to continue the great British traditions, the British majority has been told that their history and culture is entirely a point of shame. What nonsense! This imposed contempt leads directly to Farage and Lowe.

What's happening now is the result of poking the bear over and over and over again and them complaining when the bear bites back.

Get a grip, Farage wouldn’t give a shit if it was a black or brown boy. He is elated he can use poor Henry’s death to further his agenda.

This isn’t about his views on two tier policing, its an excuse to stir up more hate and division, he wants the PM job so he can line his and his rich friends pockets some more.

I don’t believe that the system (ETA in Britain) was inherently racist pre- George Floyd, I believe it was in the past, but that was a long time ago. And I certainly disagree with critical race theory.

Nobody’s saying anything should be swept under the carpet and you’re absolutely right that debate is required. The family said their son’s death should not stir up division but Farage is doing exactly that. He hasn’t suggested any sensible examination of what happened and why, just rage. Rage achieves nothing.

Well unfortunately something like this is going to stir up division.

I love that you think Keir Starmer carries any kind of influence or respect. He’s Labour Leader and PM by default of very few other options, not because he has a popular following. The George Floyd protests would have taken off without him.

Besides, taking a knee is a sign of respect for a man who was murdered by the police. It is not the same thing as encouraging people to rally in the streets. But I don’t expect you will agree with me.
