To think Nigel Farage should be locked up?

He was inciting violence with his “address to the nation” speech, calling for rage.

Meanwhile, he doesn’t care when women are actually murdered by the police

Surely enough is enough and they need to take action?

Nigel Farage MP (@Nigel_Farage) on X

We must not allow the tragic murder of a young woman turn into attacks on men and attacks on the police.

Did anyone, at any time, give any consideration to Floyd's victims who had to watch the ridiculous beatification of this low life crook unfolding around the world?

Good point

Idk what that is or if it’s problematic but I’m guessing they’ll look at the equality of outcome and treat people differently lines.

It’s the annual training they receive that covers use of handcuffs. The consensus seems to be, as highlighted on the thread, that Henry should never have been handcuffed.

🤣🤣. The man is a grifting, trump wannabe that appeals to the same type

Are we having a minutes silence for every stabbing murder?

This was a terrible, terrible incident but why now?

Pure cynicism

Starmer is more dangerous . He inclination to say nothing do nothing of any meaning except platitudes is not cooling the fire . This country has never been so divided and I think anarchy is a possibility .

I warmly welcome the comments of the PM and the Leader of the Opposition, Kemi, for their measured responses. Both of these are prepared to put the work in to learn from this. Not so the often absent Farage.

I wonder if they’ll also review the effectiveness of the annual Personal Safety Training.

Righto, you've made it up then

About Starmer defending his parents? Yeah, if I'm wrong, I accept that. Their son's still an evil, deranged monster, though.

No, I think his son being a deranged, machete obsessed murderer is quite enough, don't you?

Righto, you've made it up then

JustSawJohnny · 04/06/2026 12:31

His shameless Trump 2.0 act is just embarrassing.

He's taking cash from here there and everywhere in the hopes of turning us into little America - abortion lobby, pharmaceutical companies, Christian groups etc.

Next he'll be calling for us all to have the right to bare arms.

Absolute CUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNT.

olivepicanto · 04/06/2026 12:31

FlyingWithBingoWings · 04/06/2026 08:44

Are you angry that Starmer and Raynor took the knee over the murder of a black criminal and neither did this or yesterday, called for a minute's silence over the murder of a white teenager?

Well, I am and so are millions of others.

Farage addresses this and that is why Reform UK are now the opposition in this country, despite being hampered every step of the way by the establishment and useful idiots.

Go Nigel! He is the face of right wing politics-not far right- and he has lit a fire under the far left.

Is there a source for that, other than some cranks on twitter?

Next you'll be telling us that the father was a genocidal warlord too

The training / guidance is now under urgent review so those who use it do think it should be assessed.

'Address to the nation' what an absolute tool this man is. He isn't a Monarch and he has a handful of MPs. Total menace

Saying oh well I don’t like this so it excuses me to do is not a justification whatsoever for behaviours that were shown. Ask more of yourself.

Some bastard hurt a police dog.
Some people had bricks through their windows
Some people had their gardens demolished so they could throw bricks.

And I bet a lot of people living in the road where it all got violent were bloody frightened, too, even if they weren't directly affected.

I know I would have been. I can imagine a child might have been quite traumatised by all that going on outside their house.

JimBobsWife · 04/06/2026 11:36

They didn't need to handcuff Henry. He was hardly moving. He wasn't resisting arrest. Handcuffs are not an automatic requirement for an arrest, so say the College of Policing.

Funnily enough, even after Henry had died, they didn't handcuff Digwa. They took him to the police station and offered him a meal.

I didn’t say they did need to handcuff him. You’re right. There’s is no automatic requirement to handcuff him. Apparently though these officers are sticklers for the policies you disagree with, but completely disregard the ones you don’t. For me it all smacks of incompetence.

To be fair to you, I think you seem to hold a more nuanced view that some other posters who place all or almost all the blame with diversity policies. Hypothetically I’m not convinced that the outcome would have been different had Henry been Black. If there had been no allegation of a racial element. It feels like the police took the easy option. Believe the complainant, don’t take much notice of the suspect. Again, we know this shouldn’t be what happens, but speak to anyone who’s had any contact with the police and this tends to be how it plays out.

Princejoffyjaffur · 04/06/2026 12:07

He is a complete dick but he (and everyone) should be able to say exactly what they like.

JimBobsWife · 04/06/2026 12:06

sittingonabeach · 04/06/2026 12:04

@JimBobsWife Farage used those words knowing many people would just see/hear the word rage. He needed to clarify that he doesn’t mean violence, he needs to condemn the violence if he wants to ‘address the nation’

And so what if they did? Many politicians including Sadiq Khan said that rage was understandable and acceptable when George Floyd was killed. He didn't clarify that violence wasn't acceptable.

It’s both. The incredibly bad reaction at the scene by those officers and the training.

The former under investigation and the latter will likely lead to changes to equality of outcome training.

I am hoping he loses some support amongst his followers following his “pure rage” comments which are clearly an invitation to violent protest. Very happy to see him loudly heckled in the HoC yesterday.

Sadly, they are already excusing him.

The man is a dangerous, vindictive grifter. He relies on the hard of thinking to bolster his "standing" and for some of those poor souls , he makes them feel that they matter.

the "protests" are a replica of the previous ones. Sad, hopeless people jumping at the chance to matter.

His behaviour is traitorous.

KeepPumping · 04/06/2026 12:00

From watching the shift that is now taking place in culture and politics the only place NF will be locked up in is Number 10 Downing Street.
