To think Nigel Farage should be locked up?

He was inciting violence with his “address to the nation” speech, calling for rage.

Meanwhile, he doesn’t care when women are actually murdered by the police

Surely enough is enough and they need to take action?

Nigel Farage MP (@Nigel_Farage) on X

We must not allow the tragic murder of a young woman turn into attacks on men and attacks on the police.

Good point

It wasn't for that police officer to brutally execute him whatever he'd done in the past. Did the police officer even know his record? We can't be excusing brutality.

The BBC having to apologise is now getting to be a regular occurrence.

Oh yes they are tying themselves in knots having to apologise to Nigel. I wonder if they had their fingers crossed behind their backs 🤣🤣

2dogsandabudgie · 04/06/2026 15:32

You called me a liar when I said that Starmer didn't know what a woman was and that he only changed his mind after the Supreme Court Hearing.

At least his mate David Lammy is on the ball....men can take hormones to grow a cervix 🤣🤣

Has Farage apologised for this yet?

What she actually said.."I don’t want to hear about Black Lives Matter. I don’t want to hear about White Lives Matter. Everyone matters. Henry Nowak matters."

I'm no Badenoch fan, but that Reform attack ad is a shameful attempt at twisting her words through selective quoting that is very clearly designed to be deliberately misleading. That kind of misrepresentation should not be allowed.

Kemi Badenoch, just like Starmer, doesn’t care. Only Reform UK will openly say that white lives matter too.

Oh change the bloody record. The uneducated claptrap has been done to death.

Some of the most educated and intelligent people I know are not afraid to say that they voted Reform in the last local elections. The reason for that Is that the two main parties have let the country down so badly in the past 16 years that it’s a protest vote to shake the country up. They are all six of them past traditional Tory or Labour voters.

Whammyammy · 04/06/2026 18:10

BIossomtoes · 04/06/2026 18:03

They got one word wrong.

And that word makes a difference to what he meant. Cold rage" (also known as cold anger) is a highly controlled, suppressed form of intense fury.Unlike classic "hot anger"—which is chaotic, explosive, and marked by immediate outbursts like yelling or slamming doors—cold rage is quiet, calculated, and deeply internalised. It represents a state where intense resentment or malice is stripped of explosive emotion, leaving the individual eerily calm on the surface while remaining fiercely focused beneath it.

So prison time for telling people to suppress their anger? Ok then

A different example and in another country, certainly. I was responding to a post, in the quote history:

Whammyammy · Today 13:34
Not that I agree with violent protests, but I can understand why these people have taken to protesting.
We as a nation are not listened to by our government, people are fed up with 2 tier policing, the way in which the police treated this young man in his final minutes.
What else are these, beer swigging, bin lighting...' people to do to get heard? What they have done has made headlines in global media and showed the world we operate a 2 tier justice system with limited free speech

However, your original post and reply to me talked about football - high emotions after winning. The recent riots in Paris were really not about football at all.

The right side of history. Bloody hell the arrogance is unreal. I see this tone in the ME conflict. Sorry to break it to you but your being on the right side of history is purely subjective.

As for the poster who seems to have taken an advanced interest in me, heaven forbid I respond to posts. Fuck me, it gets worse!

Bonkers reply. Not arrogance just fact. Siding with right wing fascists has never ended well. Maybe try reading a history book or two.

Boomer55 · 04/06/2026 16:07

No. I don’t sgeee with him, but I don’t agree with a lot of politicians. They have their view, others have theirs. We can’t just lock up people that offend some people. 🙄

MulberryBrandy · 04/06/2026 16:07

Clavinova · 04/06/2026 15:19

You chose an unfortunate example I think;

Former European commissioner Thierry Breton blamed the French Government, which he said had set a bad example and had not kept its promises to immigrant youths. Breton said it was for France to teach them “the love of our country”.

Reconquête leader Éric Zemmour said the violence had nothing to do with football. “They are the first symptoms of a civilisational guerrilla war. We need a major remigration policy to bring peace back to France,” he said.

I cannot believe anyone who lives in real world has a problem with somebody sticking to their opinion. What @HenriettaHenhouse is trying to do in a not so clever way is call me a troll without saying it. I will keep on reporting her.

there has always been two tier policing I. This country. It’s mostly been geared towards treating non-white people more harshly. But I sense you would be ok with that.

Your 'sense' has failed you then.

And where does Farage sit on the scale of politicians pandering to people.
He panders to racists and billionaire donors with an agenda.

You called me a liar when I said that Starmer didn't know what a woman was and that he only changed his mind after the Supreme Court Hearing.

Left or Right- if you loathe Farage you're on the right side of history. Up until Cameron and the fiasco of Brexit I'd always voted Conservative. You'd never call me a lefty and I despise everything Reform stand for. Weirdly if you're decent and have an education you're far left according to the Farage cult!

I feel for you. It’s like the far right have hijacked the Tories and there are no one nation Conservatives left. It’s now hard to be fiscally Tory and socially liberal. That is definitely a threat to democracy. As for Brexit it betrayed a lot of Tories as well as centrists and those on the left.
