To wonder why so many male migrants have committed sexual assaults:even if they are evil people, wouldn't staying in the UK be an incentive to abide by the law?

I KNOW that plenty of the men who come are not evil and don't want to commit sexual assault. But clearly a number who have come are, and there's strong evidence that male migrants are disproportionately lileky to do so.

This almost surely at least partly caused by misogynistic culture in various areas meaning back home they perceived uncovered women as permissible to assault. But surely they know it's different here? That they will likely be caught? They are at least more likely to be punished here for assault.

Or are they convinced our police system will let them off?

Or they're not aware our norms are different?

Or just don't care about the consequences?

I wonder also if criminals are in a sense selected for since they may have little to tie them to their home countries, or even be escaping punishment there.

I don’t care about ethnicity. A black person could be British, Nigerian, Jamaican or a thousand other nationalities. What’s the benefit lumping them together?

It’s not even comprehensive data. The government said the would publish official data last year. But have refused to do it now. It was requested in parliament. But government are actively blocking it.

The gaslighters will point you to this nonsense which supports their gaslighting.

Sex crimes by ethnicity is easy to find.

https://questions-statements.parliament.uk/written-questions/detail/2025-07-09/66370

Sex crimes by nationality is not officially measured but there is data available from a FoI request - see earlier posts.

It’s not that bogus Centre for Migration Control “data” is it ?

This is the message I was replying to.

It is hard to find per-capita stats on perpetrator ethnicity for crimes in the UK.

Because the government refuses to publish it. Wonder why. Because European data tells us what UK data will tell us. And cover up is the way to counter that in this country.

MifaoCD · 03/06/2026 08:17

Because of their culture.

Because where they are from women are objects to be owned.
They don't 'date' women, they are given a bride by her parents, often in exchange for money or land.
Women don't have autonomy, they don't have to give consent. Sex is a right to them.
They cover their women up, head to toe, to stop temptation then they arrive here and see women in shorts and vest tops and see those women as shameful and think its OK to tough them because why are they ahowing their skin if they aren't ok with that?

These men are coming over in droves, with a belief set and culture that is totally alien to Britain.

They believe sex is a right and where are they going to find sex? Do you think British women are going to be attracted by them? Men living in HMO, speaking broken English. Of course they aren't. And they don't know how to treat and speak to women and so they just harrass them.

Please watch that video. This is the reality of these mens mindsets. This is not a one off person. This is what they are taught by being brought up in countries that oppress and objectify women.

A clear and harrowing account explaining why so many Afghani men want to leave and find a better future for their families. We were complicit in screwing their country up for 20 years before handing it back to the Taliban and abandoning them to their fate.

Leave without the women and kids! Ffs when will you wake up and smell the coffee???

We spent 20 years finding and equipping their army and when we left they ran away like cowards and handed their women back to the Taliban within 3 days!!!!!

Well of course it can. Passing certain westernised tests doesn’t make you particularly clever. But my point is, in 2026 is it OK that you can say that people from certain countries have low IQs? I am actually shocked that people can possibly believe this and even more shocked that they can post such rubbish on the internet. I know I shouldn’t be shocked but I do actively stay away from the right wing MSM so maybe this crap is everywhere and it’s just the fact it’s on Mumsnet that bothers me so much.

Yes. The arguments are about why. On the nurture side are things like nutrition, education, poverty. If you think those things affect tested IQ then you should expect big differences, which is what is found.

You need to provide statistics to back your claims.

However, I think there definitely are issues with men in general who come from cultures and follow religions that see women and girls as basically property and second class citizens.

The UK does need to get its act together when it comes to clamping down on illegal immigration and addressing misogyny as a whole.

Only 3% of rapes ever go to court and we have an overall issue with how ALL men, no matter their background, treat women and girls and how the criminal justice system and the police deal with victims.

Statistics have been provided please read earlier posts.

They took no notice of the law when arriving in a small boat!! They will play the system as long as allowed.

That is the only way to seek asylum in the U.K. - to be on British soil and claim. This isn’t illegal entry in the eyes of the law then - if they land and don’t claim then it would be illegal.

There’s lots of debate around this I know, but this false understanding that these small boats are landing illegals, who remain illegal is not helpful.

There are illegal migrants in the U.K. but most will have arrived legally and then overstayed their visa.

In a conversation where people are alleging that migrants are perpetrating more sex offences because child marriage is common in their countries of origin, someone picked Niger - well known as one of the places child marriage is prevelant. But the fact is there are barely any refugees here from Niger. Don’t talk to me about being disingenuous if you’re just going to name countries which aren’t even visible in refugee populations in the UK.

More gasligthting.

Legally if you are a foreign national and commit a crime and are sentenced to more than 12 months in prison then at the end of your sentence you are supposed to be deported.

However this often doesn't happen because it's possible to appeal against deportation on Human Rights grounds.

Interesting, I didn’t know that. Perhaps they should have thought about Human Rights before they do what they do and commit the crime. I have to abide by rules of the country I am living in, it should be the same in the UK.

While that does happen in Afghanistan, it covers 4% of women who were married before the age of 18, and is becoming rarer as time goes on. It’s not a societal norm.

Notice how how the government is doing all it can to in refusing publishing crime data by ethnicity. They will cover up as much as they. But people have eyes and see what’s going on.

These constant cover ups and gas lighting and calling people with genuine concern racist is the worst thing these ‘progressives’ are doing to hurt race relations.

Either the assertion that certain groups of men are more likely to commit sex offences is bullshit in which case releasing verifiable figures benefits everyone and calms the situation.

OR - well. We know the ‘or’.

Non British born also includes half a million people from China and 4.1 million people from Continental Europe who may somewhat ‘dilute’ things.

And it also includes Eastern European diaspora. It’s basically a poor attempt at covering up the real issue.

The law doesn’t seem to care about sexual assault regardless of who the perpetrator is or where they are from but I do think if you commit a crime, you should be deported. I’ve lived and worked in many other countries and if I was to commit a crime I certainly wouldn’t be able to hold on to my job and visa.
