If you owned a pub, what would you call it?

I'll go:

"The Fat Labrador"

or simply The Fat Lab

I would be known for serving generous portions and puddings would swim in custard.

For all the MN-inspired suggestions, no one has said The Massive Salad.
I also think how about the Columbo-inspired The One More Thing.

I would call it the last drop. Nothing fancy, just an old style pub with dinner in a basket and scampi fries on offer. No big screen TV, just a old style jukebox lol

We have The Duck Inn down the road, which I think is a brilliant name for a pub.

There's a 'Stumble Inn' near me 😄

Been in the Handsome Sam, a lovely quiet pub.
I think The Snooty Fox is a great name for a pub. Think there's one somewhere in Yorkshire

There’s a Snooty Fox in Cumbria in a little village called Uldale.

Always wanted to run The Smugglers Inn.
Located near a cove in Cornwall of course.

There’s a pub near me called The Cock and Pye, but it’s known locally as the Prick and Pasty.

The Squid and Octopus

Just to cause fights in the car for families playing pub cricket.

Leg, or not a leg?

The Wandering Wizard. It will have a library. And potions.

The Come on Inn

Reminds me of the “Welcome Stranger” pub near DM. DB and I went in there one Xmas Eve many years ago and the place went silent when we walked in, like we had 2 heads or were wearing ‘out there’ fashion (we were in our 30s and wearing jeans and sweaters).

We renamed it the “Sod off Stranger”

”which pub?”
”THE PUB.”

The Hungary Biscuit. After my Hungarian rescue dog. Will have a cheevenings. Cheese evenings, where crackers, crusty bread and pickles are served.

The appropriate rate of canine cheese tax would need to be paid to all four legged patrons.... don't forget!
